Good hotel, but rooms not meant for a family

We stayed in a deluxe suite with a jacuzzi on the balcony. The property location is very good as little venice was 5 mins walk, and also the host was supportive. However, the room was not meant for a family as it had an open bathroom with a transparent door. The Indian restaurant was quite far, around 20 mins walk uphill as against the suggestion on MMT portal.
