Hotel Ilissos

Ilissos is 10 mins walk from Acropolis and near to Plaka. Hotel service and stay was good.

Hotel is very average. They give us a single balcony room. Breakfast is only for non vegetarians. Vegans please go outside to have food. Location is good. You can stay for a day or two. Hotel have much to offer other than stay.

As per the location, service, facilities, cleanliness etc. It was definitely value for money. All the process were too smooth. The room size was good with all the basic facilities. All the staff were friendly, informative and very helpful. As our returning flight was early on the morning, they had also packed our breakfast before 5AM. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located about 1km from acropolis and about 500m from nearest metro station and hence not quite the best location. The check in process was smooth and the room size was good along with basic facilities. I had an issue with the AC in my room which I asked the staff to fix but the resolution provided by the staff and their behaviour was not satisfactory.

I loved this hotel... Due to its service... Cleaning... Location. And food also. All staff were very helpful always. Only cons was Wi-fi was poor... Otherwise... 5/5... . Very near to main attractions... Metro station... Bus stop. Lots of coffee shops... Restaurants... At walk-able distance from the hotel. Acropolis main attraction.. Of Athens is also 20 min walk from hotel...

Location is excellent. Walking distance from Acropolis. Room is average. All basic facilities are provided. Good if you Plan to explore city and just relax in night at hotel. Staff is cooperative. Booked last minute taxi for us.

Was not quite sure while making the bookings of the hotel but the hotel was actually awesome. Beautiful and spacious rooms, very well maintained, clean washrooms, friendly and helpful hotel staff made the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Surely worth value for money with all the facilities the hotel has provided.

Hotel is 10 minutes walk from Syngrou Fix Metro Station on Syngrou Road which merges into Kalliroi Street. It was difficult to find the hotel since all guided us to Kalliroi. Once we reached check in was quick. Clean decent sized room. Bus no. 5 from hotel takes you straight to Syntagma square from where we walked to Monastiraki and Plaka which are touristy areas of Athens. From there walking back to hotel is about 25 minutes. Restaurants near by and good view of Acropolis from terrace restaurant of the hotel. Neat clean slightly outside tourist area but good value for money.
