THIS IS NOT EVEN HOSTEL STANDA....
where to start with this awful hotel? this has ruined our holiday visit for Christmas. i will list the awful things:
no curtains so bright street lights shine in room
no sound proofing so people sound like they are in room with you
no wardrobe or shelves
bathroom floor floods with water after shower
hot water runs out
phones in room do not work
walls so flimsy i could knock through them
people smoking in rooms
breakfast basic and boring
people on reception are rude and misreable and try to charge you for hot water
windows dont shut properly so cold and very noisy street
im sure this is next to a brothel as constant loud noise of people screaming and having sex
DO NOT STAY IN THIS AWFUL PLACE

I did not like anything about ....
We chose the hotel based on price.
We stayed in a double room, bellow street level. Room was big, bathroom was ok - had a hair dryer and shower gel, soap. TV was new and huge - trying to make up for the poor conditions I guess? What I did not like:
- dirty windows that didn't close properly - you could feel a cold draft.
- instead of curtains there were vertical blinds, like in an office and - surprise! - those didn't close properly either.
- water stains on the ceiling and other mysterious stains on walls, near the bed etc
- noisy plumbing - the kind that wakes you up from your sleep when the neighbour flushes/ takes a shower/ washes his hands
- water dripping from the ceiling and soaking our luggage and clothes - when we reported this to the guy at the reception desk he very politely stated that he will be sure to tell the cleaning lady to take care of it - THE NEXT DAY; when we asked to get a new room he just shrugged and said that the hotel was fully booked and that was that.
The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area. The nearest metro station is Harras - about 10min away from the hotel - from there you are in Marienplatz in 10-15minutes. There are a lot of small shops nearby, a Lidl, DM and also a very good asian restaurant, very close to the Harras metro station - Yan You.
If you are choosing based on price and this hotel is your best (or only)option, go ahead and book a room here. Otherwise, don't even think about it. I will definitely not come back.

Must be a converted university....
We knew the minute we drove up that this was a mistake. This must have been a university dorm at some point and has been converted into a 'hotel'. The staff was wholly disinterested in being helpful. The room was average sized: small beds, one set of towels (despite the fact that they knew there were 2 of us), small shower. The carpet was stained, hair on the bathroom floor, no effort to do a thorough cleaning (accumulation of ?? in the corners). No A/C or fan in the heat of summer. Wifi connectivity marginal. Free parking, and is about a 10 min drive to the center. Not sure if I could really say anything good about this place, other than that it was inexpensive. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

Drunk man broke into our room
The hotel is NOT safe! During our stay, some drunk hotel resident broke into our room in the middle of night. The door locks automatically when you close it so apparently the guy who broke into our room happened to have our room card. Or all the room have the SAME access! What really pissed us is the attitude of the hotel staff (night shift), when we told them what happened on the night and were waiting for his response/ solutions, he said to us "SO?" Seriously?! There were no apologizes and he wasn't even sorry at all. I am not a picky person but what happened in that hotel is ridiculous, irresponsible and unacceptable. Terrible staff (night shift), terrible wifi and terrible design of the bathroom.

Excellent stay in Munich
The hotel has great service and attention. The breakfast is ok for what is paid. The hotel is close to the metro station and very accesible by bike. We stayed 4 nights. They were very flexible with us.
