Motorbike trip germany
Was looking for a quick stop off on the way to the Black Forrest. This hotel is just off the motorway, had undercover parking for the motorbike and the room was clean and spacious. The building looked relatively new and is right beside the motorway services where you check in. It's nothing spectacular but perfect for breaking up a journey.

Don't judge a book by it's cov....
Firstly I'll start with the positives. The hotel has been recently built and has a great appearance with a nice finish to the rooms. The hotel is clean and the bedding fresh. The prices at the time of writing this review are incredibly low.
Now to the negatives. On our arrival at the hotel I quickly noticed there was no drop off area at the Hotel door and that the reception was in a different building. Further to this, the secure? (not secure) car park is little bit of a walk away towards the rear of the hotel.
At the start of our stay (on the ground floor) we discovered that the internet access didn't actually work in our room. Luckily the hotel has a lounge area in the entrance where the internet access does work.
On returning to our room we noticed that the room was getting hotter and hotter and that the air conditioning was not blowing cold air. We opened the window to let some cold air in and switched off the air conditioning but, the room temperature continued to rise. We made our way to the reception to complain and noticed the corridor of the ground floor was very warm. The air conditioning had in fact failed and we were given a rear room on the first floor.
After moving room we were pleased to find that the internet access showed a great signal. But, our access key no longer worked. We headed back to reception and got a new key.
In the morning we went to get our "Big breakfast" and were followed around by a slightly unhappy staff member who kept telling us we couldn't pick certain things. The leaflet for the breakfast was a little vague. For example, although you are paying for a big breakfast you cannot have a big fruit salad.
On returning to the room once again we saw some workmen sitting outside the entrance. We thought perhaps things were getting fixed and things were looking up for this hotel.
Later in the evening we came out of the hotel room to go for dinner only to find that the entrance door was already slightly open and when I tried to close it behind me it jammed shut. Needless to say, we headed to reception again. One of the women from reception talked to one of the workmen we had seen earlier (who were all now a little drunk). The workman seemed to notice that we were speaking English and told the woman from the reception "I saw him slam the door shut. He broke the lock". After the woman from the reception managed to open the door again we headed to Burger King, where the workmen mentioned previously were getting drunk and staring at us. One even made a gesture to my girlfriend.
Later on after we had returned to our room an older couple walked into our room after reception staff gave them a key card to our room by mistake. Luckily we hadn't decided on an early night!
I would not like to stay here again.

Top voor de doorreis
Had a good night. Non smoking room was used by a smoker :( beware to order your beer before midnight. No alcohol after 12.. Toilet smell in restaurant is horrible. Bit of music in restaurant could improve the experience..
