A posh hotel at a nice location

Stayed in Scandic Rovaniemi with my family for 4 nights and it was a very good decision. The Scandic Rovaniemi City offers wide spread of breakfast and free Sauna for the Scandic Rovaniemi City guests which was a must required thing when we came back from outside temperatures below -23degC. There's a shopping mall and McDonald just opposite this Scandic Rovaniemi City and a Hertz car rental company in same building. These things were pretty helpful specially when mobility is reduced during winter months. The family rooms are a bit small if staying with more than one child and there's no kettle available in room if one wants to make coffee or tea in room (which I feel most Scandic Rovaniemi Citys worldwide offer complementary). But overall it was a great experience staying here.

Hotel location is in the middle of the city center and in close vicinity to bus stop, mall, most of tour operators and k-super market. Staff is very much cooperative and helpful. Given the location of the Scandic Rovaniemi City, most of tour operators oft-er to pick-up and drop facility.
