Best Western Premier Hotel Astoria

It was a lovely stay at Best western Astoria, they have a wide spread of breakfast and the location is close to all major attractions in old town Zagreb.

It was quite an ok stay. The hotel is quite dated, an old style one and not the typical best western contemporary style hotels. The room size is quite small and since we had 3 bags it was difficult to walk post opening them in the room, so we were literally hopping. Lighting is not enough and the rooms are dark, you cant even figure out if they are vacuumed well enough. Tables and flower pots kept in lobby had lot of dust and spider webs on it as if they are hardly ever cleaned. Breakfast was quite okayish. Nothing apart from breads for vegetarian vegan people. Also the staff did not let us enter even 15 min before the check in time and told us that it will be charged otherwise. So no flex at all even for 15 min which is extremely disappointing.

Room was small and with no view but neat, clean and comfortable for one person. Breakfast range was okay but had sufficient for a vegetarian like me.

The Hotel is perfectly located with walking distance to city's main square as well as the main train Station. Rooms can be more spacious, can have much better amenities. Also, continental breakfast should also be made available.

Hotel seemed quite decent, just a block away from the garden. Breakfast very nice. Beds comfortable. Bathrooms lill small. Overall good stay for 100 euros. But is a good 15 min walk to the main attractions.
