Stay at budget room

The room was nice, the staff were friendly but the entrance to the Hotel de Paris was kind of steep. Carrying two massive bags up those stairs after a grueling 25 hour flight wasn't a pleasant experience. They could have built a small ramp beside it so we could slide our bags up with ease. Plus the Hotel de Paris didn't have an elevator and the receptionist wouldn't assist in getting my luggage to the room, so I had to carry my bags again one more set of stairs and that was a big negative. The other problem was noise insulation, I could hear footsteps and voices all around during the afternoon and evening time although it was silent at night. Other than that the room was nice, the bathroom though small was clean and well kept, there was a coffee maker in a kitchen space next to the bed and the WiFi was quick. It was cost effective, the location was good and the Pamika thai restaurant attached to it was nice too.
