Amazing Hotel Staff
The hotel staff is amazing and make you feel very welcomed. If it were not for the awesome staff I would not recommend this hotel. The beds are very hard and the pillows are synthetic with no option to switch to feather pillows. When traveling for business it's a bummer to have a hard bed and cheap pillows when you are trying to get a good nights rest.

Quality all round
Our stay at the Quality Hotel Porto Alegre was literally a last minute decision. A power black out across sections of Porto Alegre late afternoon had left us in the dark, and spending the night at home without electricity was not an option.
Earlier in the day as we were driving home through the suburb of Moinhos de Vento, the Quality Hotel had caught my attention. An early evening phone call to the hotel confirmed that it was unaffected by the blackout, and that there was a vacancy.
After a fast and friendly check-in, we were presented with complimentary drink vouchers.
Our room was surprisingly spaciousness, spotlessly clean, and had quiet, efficient air-conditioning. With two over-sized superbly comfortable single beds, and a large desk, the room was larger than what many hotels market as suites. The bathroom was stocked with quality toiletries, and the shower provided invigoratingly hot water and ample water pressure.
Located across the road from 'Windmill Park', the hotel is within close proximity of a variety of restaurants and bars in the upmarket neighbourhood. Given that my favourite pizza restaurant is located down the road, we did not dine at the hotel.
The breakfast buffet included fruit juices, yoghurts, and cereals, together with a wide range of fruit, breads, and cakes, and scored bonus points from me for having bacon, eggs, and sausages. The staff were proactive in assisting guests.
In a rare move, I approached a manager who was having breakfast, to express how impressed I was with the hotel. All in all, our stay at the Quality Hotel was amongst the best of many hotel stays in Brazil over the last twelve years, and was also exceptional value for money.

friendly front desk staff and good breakfast.
My room was not cleaned and my towels not replaced.
renovation work was very noisy so i went to the conference room to make an important phone call and was told i would have to pay to use it.
Gym equipment is old and dangerous.
bed was very comfortable.

Nice hotel, well located, frie....
The hotel is well located; friendly staff, English speaking too. But don't have your dinner there, unless you prefer dried out food, tasteless desserts (straight from the freezer) and unfriendly restaurant staff who rather see you go than come.
The room is nice and spacious, but they forgot to service it the next day. When asked to make up my room, the service was limited by folding back the blankets on the bed - that's below any normal hotel standard.

Simple and nice
The hotel is quite simple in its design, but the rooms are big, clean and nice. Pay attention that the walls are thin, and there are no noise-protection windows.
Some of the receptionists speak English (which is quite rare in Brazil!) and they are really friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is good and they bring things that you want, such as vegetables and omelettes.
The location is also great, it’s next to a beautiful park and some streets with pubs and restaurants.(behind the Sheraton hotel which is attached to a nice, little mall).
We gladly recommend it!
