Great hotel for families
Wonderful place for someone who has children. Presence of children is for nobody disruptive. It is much to eat inclusive sweets for the smallest. Also there is a bar for adults to rest in the evening. There is a nice sauna. Parking place is big enough and the bus stop is opposite to the hotel. Location of the hotel is great for all tourists as it is close to the path to very important places as well as not so far from the center. The offer in the hotel is big enough to have very relaxing and/or active time with family. Staff speaks both German and English. In the hotel there are also interesting bonus offers :-).

Functional, but overpriced
We stayed at JUFA Kaprun for 1 night before moving on to our main holiday accommodation in nearby Zell am see. Ok, so it was the height of Ski season and winter school holidays, but even so, the tariff of €186 for 1 nights bed and breakfast for a family of 4 was very steep for the quality of the accommodation. The hotel was clean and reasonably well kept, but our room was incredibly basic without even tea/coffee making facilities. It felt a bit like a youth hostel. The power sockets had been damaged such that a travel adapter would not fit without some impromptu DIY by my husband. In the context of 1 week in a very nice private apartment in Zell for €600 and an excellent stay at a Holiday Inn Express outside Munich for €55 just the night before, parting with €186 for a night at JUFA was very disheartening! However, the breakfast buffet was good...

Decent rooms - all facilities ....
I stayed at a single room. It had all the basics. Linen were fresh. Breakfast included and was rich with comfortable tablesittings. Big Parking area. English speaking reception with a smile. Even indipendent room for parking ski equipment. Nice price.

We had pleasant stay in the JUFA, although the accommodation was basic everything was clean and functional after all it's more of a youth hostel than a luxury hotel. The breakfasts were your typical Austrian buffet, which suited us.
The only negative is there was no facilities for washing or drying clothing - it does rain at times in the mountains or if your travelling light these facilities would be appreciated.

Good service, not much vegan o....
I stayed in the new room in the south wing with a nice balcony and epic view which was great. Food is ok but has not many options for vegans. You should always ask for non-animal milk at the breakfast and dinners also don't have many vegan options or they were very salty. Internet in the lobby doesn't work that good if the hotel is full but otherwise it's fine. Soccer field in the front is perfect for barefoot walks in the summer.
