The location of the property is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city. The staff was generally cooperative. The room was clean. However they took 200AUD as security deposit, which I feel was unfair. I was in the last leg of my 10days Australia trip and a bit tight on budget. I tried explaining that my booking is paid in advance and the security deposit is a bit harsh on me. The reception staff was not willing to give the room until I pay the deposit. I was shown the door without the deposit despite the full payment. It didn't effect that I was a single lady in a foreign country and it was already dark. To avoid sleeping on streets I paid and then managed my next 4daus with 50AUD. What is the point of advance payments if this is how a guest is treated. She is giving Me Accor group bullshit. I stayed in Novotel Sydney and Mercure Sydney bothe Accor property and all they tool was my credit card details for security and not a huge appoint. not going back to Ibis again

My overall experience was good but they were quite cooperative and good in courtesy. They wrongly charged me for one additional breakfast but when I make the restaurant manager talk to reception then she agreed to refund to my forex card within 5-6 working days but so far it hasn’t happened. Today I spoke to MMT customer care to register my concern, please get me refund process asap. All the best and thanks Mmt for such lovely App/Service.

All good except no water bottle in the room and breakfast could be better with more hot food. Thanks.

It was pleasant stay as a solo traveler and I enjoyed a lot.
