It is a reasonable hotel .. Ma....

Although less than £ 100 for us ( in uk ) which is very good as we pay much more in the uk . That is without breakfast .. They charge $ 10 each for breakfast .. But from a previous stay that was excellent . Rooms can be a little worn .. Depends on what you pay and the room you get . Parking underground safe and easy .. Unlike Salta which can be an issue if not in the other larger hotels .. staff mostly very friendly and helpful .. there us an outdid pool / snack area which if not a large amount of sun beds seems to work well .

Hotel is good but they have so....

First the good :- 1. The room is very good. Feels fresh. No bad smell from carpet ; AC works great 2. The bathroom is great. The hot water has good flow. 3. The house-keeping service is v v good. V polite and efficient. 4. The gym is very well equipped with all kinds of equipment. 5. The hotel is well located and higher floors have a great view. 6. The hotel has a GREAT and extremely efficient employee by the name of "Ayelen Gallegos, who sits at the front desk and helped me several times. She is one of the best and most efficient hotel employees, I have ever met, in my whole life! 7. The room was noise free. 8. Room laundry was efficient. The PROBLEMS :- 1. Some of the employees of the hotel are absolutely terrible. Especially some of the staff at front desk. They find and conjure all kind of ways to harass the client. 2. The staff at the coffee shop is extremely inefficent. They charged me a different price for the same coffee daily; and never ever issued me a ticket or a receipt. Maybe the coffee money goes directly in their pocket rather than pocket of the hotel. Its hilarious! One time, they forgot to serve me the coffee despite taking my order 40 minutes ago. 3. The gym is very chaotic. Its membership is issued to local Salta people and henceforth its full from morning to evening. Some of these people are in groups and they occupy the machines for long hours. The hotel's nominated gym attendent is their friend ( never says anything to them). These locals talk extremely loudly in the gym. Some of them are working out 100% without clothes or walking in public spaces without clothes, Its extremely ugly sight them walking without clothes in public spaces or occupying machines for a long period of time or taking extremely loudly. One cant even enjoy a massage ( massage ladies are good) because these people talk so loudly. I suggest hotel should restrict these "socios" to specefic 6-10 am allowing hotel guests to use the services at ease. The gym is almost un-usable to because of this, as these "socios" dont allow hotel guests access to anything. 4. be prepared to pay extra 25 usd/night over and above what you have paid online as per some tax policy of the hotel. I have stayed in 100's of hotels in Argentina - never came across this. 5. late checkout is given but one really has to beg them - almost fall on their feet! Despite hotel not being full - they make a huge fuss about late check out. 6. The business centre computer is full of viruses/ very slow and the printers are not functioning. ( Although the front desk does print the pages for you). Overall, I will not be returning here and prefer to try another hotel for my next visit in Salta. I do not recommend.

Good location, needs renovatin....

First impression - the reception stinks of stale smoke because of the casino, which is just off the reception. Also - nobody helped us with our bags. Reception - efficient, very friendly and helpful - gave us lots of good advice for sightseeing, things to do and restaurants. Especially, Marisol who was really great. Rooms - basic - not to usual Sheraton standard. Air Con didn't work - we changed rooms. I agree with other reviewers about the mouldy smell. Gym - well equipped and we had massages - which were good (but expensive). Breakfast - small choice but good quality. Friendly staff who will also make different egg choices for you (e.g. poached etc). Location - easy walk into the centre - 10 / 15 mins. Fantastic views across Salta. Pool area - unattended. You have to get towels yourself from the gym and call via a phone for everything - even a drink / water. Staff were also unhelpful when we asked for help to move an umbrella. Overall - good - but could be better if they get rid of the glass roof along the walkways to the rooms. Rooms need a refresh. And move smokers / smoking section away from the reception.

Does Sheraton know this is sup....

Horrible. Extremely poorly maintained. If there is a glass ceiling, IT LEAKS. And whose brilliant idea was it to grow a rain forest inside the hotel. Entire place reeks of mold. Our room was directly in front of the rain forest and man does it smell horrible. As for the review heading, while we are elite with access to the "club level", the privileges don't exist. There is in fact a sign leading to the "club". And yes our key worked to get into the club. As you step in, you are transported to this 1930 mystery novel empty room with mold and mildew smell of nastiness. My wife refused to enter. I did. It was empty. Clearly not used for a decade. But does have access to an amazing balcony leading to the two stars I did give this place: 1 star for location and views. Beautiful. grounds and pool location. 2nd star for very good service and polite staff. Prompt. Now for the three missing stars: Definitely not a sheraton or Marriott family. Ridiculous to even think that. Very sorry state of repairs. Horrible food service and options. somebody buy this gem and upgrade if Sheraton won't... please.

Beautiful View in a beautiful ....

One towel per room even when it was a double. Note paper by the sheet. Generally sufficient but I won't say it was a five star. The view is beautiful and the swimming pool great. Nice location in a beautiful city.
