We stay here every time we are in Buenos Aires.
It’s clean, friendly and in the heart of the city.
The rooms are always large and with the most comfortable bed in the world. We always ask for a high room so we can enjoy the beautiful views.
They offer a great breakfast full of delicious pastries, fresh bread and plenty of tea and coffee.
Wonderful. We love staying here.

excellent location, good hotel
Good location ( close to the Congress), subway station, buses, shops and restaurants.
Rooms are large, and beds are OK, but dark furniture and poor lightning give a depressive feeling.
Breakfast - average.

Central - loud
As hotels go, I've stayed in better, I've stayed in worse.
It's directly behind the congress building and only about 10minutes walk from Ave 25 de Mayo (the main sort of... avenue through the centre of BsAs). It's well located whether you want to travel south towards Boca and San Telmo or North and East to Palermo & Recoleta. It's also 1 block from a subway station, although we never used the subway in our time there so I can't comment further on if that's useful or not.
We spent 10 days at Uni Suites. The room was oddly large, with a lot of dead space. Cavernous almost. The bed is huge but there's so much space you could probably fit in 6-8 more beds of the same size. This isn't a criticism, just a bit weird.
The room was clean enough, not pristine - lived in would be a kind way of phrasing it. The plumbing has character, the taps and shower in our room were as much there for providing water as they were to provide percussion.
The walls seemed somewhat thin - the man in the adjacent room enjoyed his TV being up LOUD and as it was mounted on our shared wall, I can't help but feel we had a better ability to hear it than he did.
We were on the 10th floor, and I was amazed at the sounds from the street below. It was almost a cliché it was so loud. Perhaps some acoustic trick being played by the tall buildings surrounding the street, but I genuinely believe the traffic sounds were louder in our room than they were from street-side. Every drunk on their way home along the street, every bin truck at 3am (and oddly 5am... because one lap isn't enough), and every siren. And there will be LOTS of sirens. And they aren't like regular sirens. I'm used to sirens which make a noise - a continuous tune of some sort. NEE-NAW-NEE-NAW, of ooooOOOOoooooOOOOOoooo. In Buenos Aires, the emergency vehicle sirens are designed to catch you out, they go through every type of tune you might get from any emergency vehicle siren, but rapidly between all of them. It's quite bizarre. You'll learn it. You'll be lying there in bed at this hotel or probably any other in BsAs to be fair, hear the siren, and think to yourself, "I see what that guy on Trip Advisor meant about the sirens."
Breakfast was limited. I wasn't expecting much, and it is what it is. Toast. Cereal (sort of). There might be a pastry if you're lucky. And some bananas. I never had a banana there as they all seemed to have had their skin partly opened already. Again, very odd.
Uno Suites is decent value, there wasn't much of a good night's sleep there for me - but if you're there for a city break, see the sights and enjoy the nightlife, then I'm sure it would be perfect for you. We just grew tired of how loud it was and how unrested we felt. As much an indictment on the city as the hotel, hence the 3 star.

Handy, and no problems
I didn't have any trouble with the staff when I stayed there in January, 2015. They even told me where to go to change money at the unofficial rate. The room was fine. I'm not sure what a normal breakfast is in B.A. but it was okay. It is within walking distance of the Recoleta cemetery and Plaza de Mayo--long walks, but B.A. is very flat. The staff warned us to use a cab or subway at night because of street crime, but I don't think it was just that neighbourhood. I paid $58US a night. They will arrange for you to be picked up at the airport, but I think a cab would be cheaper.

Convenient location close to a....
Located a block from the congress building and blocks away from the blue and red line metro, the hotel was well located. The room was fairly large, but could be cleaner (especially the carpet). This hotel was very busy at the time of our stay. Good breakfast and service.
