Scarce 3* hotel
I rated this hotel poor mostly because of staff comportment. From the very start they behaved haughtily and arrogantly. As we came to the hotel far too early for check in (around 10 am) we could only hope that there was a room ready. OK; there were no rooms but two receptionists could at least offer us to leave our baggage in the hotel while waiting for check in time. They didn't - we have to ask them to do it and they accepted it as if they were doing us a very special favor.
When we came back to hotel after 2 pm our baggage was still in foyer - nobody took it to our room. I visited more than 50 countries ... I really do not know how many hotels I've slept in ... but I've never seen such behavior in 4* hotel !
Room was far below 4*, to say nothing about cleanness ... breakfast was satisfactory (just that!) and location was pretty much OK.
I would never return to this hotel and I definitely do not recommend it!

The hotel was alright, really Well located with a alright breakfast. The rooms clean and of normal standard. Unfortunately we didn’t get that good impression of the hotel because of the very inflexible man in the reception.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
First of all, they overcharged me (185 USD per night, which is outrageous). Second, even without the overcharging, this is by no means a 4 star hotel. You can get a hostel for a much better price in Buenos Aires, and much better rooms. The rooms are old and dark. The cold water in the bathroom never worked, so basically we burned ourselves for 2 nights. Staff pretended to care but they didn't really care, we asked for repair 4 times and they never offered an alternative room. Finally, very noisy inside the hotel. My advice:STAY OUT OF THIS HOTEL.

An average 3 star hotel
The first room that I was given was very poor. It was very dark, without furniture apart from the beds and side tables and in poor conditions of maintenance: the wall painting was pilling off in several places in both the room and the restroom, the bath tube was rusty, the carpet was too old, the walls were damaged in several places. As the room did not have any chair or table/desk, although in the specifications of the room it was said it had, I went to the reception to ask for another room with desk as I was on work and I would need to use the laptop intensively. I was told that no room in the hotel had desk. Two days later, I complained again because of the lack of desk in the room. This time I was told that there were no free rooms with desk. After a long discussion, they promised to get me a room with desk in the next day. The new room was much better: it had more light, it was in better conditions of maintenance and it had a desk and a chair!
The breakfast is poor. There are all the important items but the quality of the products is poor.

Amazing hotel in the middle of....
Love love the hotel that is such a relief after spending some time in Bolivia where plumbing n water pressure is questionable ! Bisonte did not disappoint n the service from staff n porter remarkable even if English /Spanish languages a barrier ! They were very accommodating when we requested if our luggage could be stored for several days while we travel forward to Uruguay !! Just made our trip so much more comfortable ! Thank you Bisonte Palace n keep up the brilliant service n high standards which is so appreciated by your Australian travelers !!! Cheers
