Review Of Summit Namnang Courtyard & Spa (MG Marg)

The location is not good, it is almost 20 mints walking from MG Marg.

The room was not upto the mark and food quality and quantity bad and limited and spa was non operational however front desk manager Mr Mamdoz was very courteous

Very good room,service and cleanliness and room is also very good and there is Kanchenjunga view from room and food quality and room service was excellent. As per contract minerals water was not given on entrance to the room, on demand and repeated telling on last day one bottle was given during check out otherwise experience is very good👍

Excellent stay we enjoyed fir three days wef 18 Oct. MG Road close by was an icing on cake.Very good view of valley and Kanchenjunga. Staff is extremely cooperative and gives quick service. Food too was good with nice variety for breakfast each day.Overall a great experience.

Nice property with friendly staff and good food. Location is convenient and perfect for families. I really enjoyed my stay and would love to visit again.

Summit Namnang is an excellent property facility and amenity wise, however location and access are negatives. Its located about 1 km downhill from the centre of MG Marg which is the heart of Gangtok. This also means you need to have a taxi everytime you decide to drop in on MG marg. Also, the access road to the resort is an extremely narrow stretch of bylane where only one car can go at a time, and the conditions of the lane is also poor. The resort must look into the lane condition as its the only property that this lane leads into. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous view of Gangtok city and the valley with a partial view of the mountains. The kitchen serves most types of food and the quality is pretty decent but expensive. Internet connectivity is poor. They should definitely look into it. The staffs are courteous and service is great. Overall it’s a decent stay. But price is way too much for the location.

Food was average. Rooms good. Still awaiting refund of one day as discussed with your rep. Surrounding was very good.

Property was good and mentain well. Room size and wash room is maintained well. Only issue with Food service is very slow. Even after 1.5 hrs of order I am not getting Tea.

The staying experience was good , complimentary breakfast was good, staffs were humble and cooperative, spacious rooms and washroom. Parking place was spacious, since we drove all the way from Guwahati. Approach road to hotel was not good, and we have to pay ₹300 to taxi for MG marg visit every time.

Outside view is good, breakfast is good staff is good.Overall environment vibe is excellent. Hotel location is superb.

First of all the road to the property is horrible and no one cares to repair it. The room ambience was average as per a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was also like a 2 star hotel. The work station had literally a table and a chair put in the middle of the space left in the room. The arrangement of furniture was poor too. Overall the stay was average experience. The only thing I liked here was the breakfast.

I booked a room with a view, but they stuck us on the ground floor. We couldn't see crap from the window because of buildings and trees. The staff wasn't friendly at all. We got a package with breakfast and lunch/dinner, but the buffet was terrible. The food was bad and there wasn't much to choose from. I ate dinner the first night, and the next morning I got food poisoning. I missed breakfast and dinner that day. Then, before we left, I had breakfast, and the juice was made with rotten fruit. The fruit salad was also unripe. I talked to the staff and the chef, and they said they got the stuff from vendors and the fruit was unripe. I got food poisoning again from breakfast. The shower and the hair dryer didn't work either. I paid over for one night, and all I got was a tiny room. I'd never recommend this place to anyone. It was the worst experience, and it ruined my trip to Gangtok.

Location and facilities are very excellent.food is very short i can say food quantity and quality is not as per the higher price they charge..one more thing i asked for a steam iron for that i will have to call them 20 times and 2 hours waiting period they take

very good experience, they gave us an upgraded room, food was also good. highly recommend.

It was near mg Marg but the rooms has a very uncomfortable smell. There was no AC and no ventilation as well. We had to degrade our room during our stay due to the smell.
