Excellent comfort stay with super clean room and hotel staff thanks to Nima from hotel reception team for providing comfort stay and food was also excellent

The hotel staff and location is wonderful just one thing is a big turn off which is their breakfast it's horrible don't know why they keeping with that chef . plz don't book package with bfast u shall regret . apart from food all is good. They should work on their bfast quality you would end up having nothing and paying for bfast.

The property location was excellent and well maintained. services are very poor not professional at all. The foods are very bad in taste, tasteless and too much oily.

We had booked a Family Suite since we were a family of 4 adults. On check in we were given a family room which is much smaller and we were told that extra bed would be provided, which meant that 3 adults had to sleep on 1 bed. When we refused to accept the room, the front office started arguing saying that all family rooms are the same. When I showed her the amenities that we were supposed to get in family room she was taken aback. I insisted that I be shown all other family rooms. Reluctantly she agreed and when she opened the room which we had booked, she had no answer to my questions except to allot us our suite. Things did not end there. Till late night we started getting some sounds in our room. When we raised that with the front office, they first said maintenance but when we asked what maintenance late at night they had no answers. Later they said the pipeline comes along the wall where bed is placed and since pumping was going on we have to bear till kitchen is closed. This went on till well past 11pm and started again early morning from around 4 am. Could not get peaceful sleep. Horrible service though location is good.

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel due to misleading information and poor integrity. At the time of booking, the hotel clearly advertised a valley view room, which was a key reason I chose this property. However, upon arrival, I was given a room with no valley view at all — it faced the back of the property with no scenic outlook. When I raised the issue with the make my trip and front desk, the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. Despite multiple requests, they neither acknowledged the misrepresentation nor made any effort to resolve the issue. This felt like outright cheating, and it’s unacceptable for any hospitality provider to operate this way. Such dishonesty completely ruined the experience, and I would strongly caution others against booking here based on the descriptions or photos they provide — they are not reliable.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Sumitel, Pelling with my wife and daughter. The staff greeted us warmly and clearly explained hotel facilities like WiFi, restaurant timings, and laundry services. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, offering a stunning Kanchenjunga view. While comfortable, better storage and a wardrobe would have been helpful. The location is excellent, with shops and eateries within walking distance. The in-house restaurant and bar were convenient. On the first night, the buffet dinner was quite good, and breakfast, though limited, was decent. On the second night, due to fewer guests, we ordered from a set menu with no restrictions and were pleasantly surprised by the large portions! The staff was extremely friendly, and Nischal from the restaurant stood out, going above and beyond to assist us. Overall, we loved our stay and would gladly return if we visit Pelling again!

I stayed at the summit group property earlier,so it was satisfactory but this time very unnatural things happened!

I have booked the room with meals so they had a wide spread of food options both breakfast and dinner. everyone at the front desk was very polite. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting pelling.

Professionally managed hotel with specious & clean rooms with all modern facilities. Stuffs are also very cordial & helpful. I feel it is good value for money. Location wise, it is very good, you can view long mountain range from some of the rooms

i have booked sumitel pelling for 02 nights and meal plan was cp…their staffs are very much professional and very polite too.. their food quality was amazing and mainly their hospitality is much better than another hotels that is i will always prefer sumitel pelling.. thank you

It has been my 3rd stay and never been below excellent, let it be in terms of food, stay/views/rooms and their cleanliness / maintenance and the best part is the staff and their hospitality. A must recommend

The stay was very comfortable and nice. Kachenjunga view from premium rooms are exquisite. Rooms are clean and have all modern amenities. Additionally, the hotel has lift facility which is not common in pelling. Food prices are above average, but quite tasty. Staff is courteous and helpful. Service is also good. Overall, sumitel in pelling provides a good experience.

It gives a breathtaking view of kanchenchunga. Rooms are good and spacious. Hotel management is polite.
