excellent service. hospitality is amazing and each and every staff is very experienced and professional. the rooms are very well maintained and clean. The view from our room was phenomenal. the food is also amazing and delicious. had an amazing time with my family. easily one of my best stays ever.

It was an amazing stay! The staff were very supportive and friendly, the location was excellent, and the balcony offered a stunning view of Kanchenjunga.

Genuinely exceeded our expectations. Pictures don't do it justice - what amazing views from the room! Even the comfort rooms are perfect for 3 people. Everything is clean, hygienic and all amenities like hot water, electricity, WiFi are available. The food is top-tier, really loved everything we ordered. The staff is young, polite and helpful. Only con is the condition of the road leading up to the hotel, but that's not a big issue as it's not too far from the main town.

The stay was excellent. The location is little difficult to reach. When we reached it was raining and the reception was not near the parking place, we had to walk in the rain and all luggage was to be carried by them in rain. The location was perfect, & magnificent Kanchenjunga view from my room balcony as well , resort reside midst of the forest with spectacular views.. My room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and a great view. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, .The breakfast buffet had a variety of options,. . The ambience was amazing Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again."

We had a wonderful experience staying at Magpie Pachhu in Pelling. The location is absolutely beautiful — surrounded by mountains, greenery, and peace. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered breathtaking views right from the balcony. The hospitality was warm and welcoming — the staff was helpful, polite, and always available when needed. Food was great too. If you’re looking for a calm, nature-filled stay away from the crowd, Magpie Pachhu is the perfect choice. And the stunning view of Kanchenjengha from the balcony is amazing. Would definitely love to come back!

This is truly one of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at! 1. Rooms We stayed in one cottage room and one comfort room. The cottage upgrade was absolutely worth it for the stunning balcony and panoramic mountain views—including Kanchenjunga. Our family of four could comfortably sit and enjoy breakfast out on the balcony. The comfort room had a smaller balcony with a pleasant valley view, though the full landscape wasn’t visible. That said, both rooms were spacious and well-furnished. The addition of a sofa set made the space even more relaxing, and the beds were incredibly comfortable after long, tiring days. One small suggestion: adding table fans in the rooms could be helpful, especially during warmer days. 2. Views, Surroundings & Property The setting is nothing short of magical. The natural beauty, peaceful surroundings, and well-maintained property make it feel like a hidden paradise. 3. Service The service here rivals (and even surpasses) many five-star resorts. There’s always someone available, 24/7, to assist with anything you need. The entire team is warm, attentive, and always ready with a smile—genuine hospitality at its best. 4. Food & Beverages The food, as well as the tea and coffee, were absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Portions were generous, and once we had our first breakfast here, we didn’t want to eat anywhere else—we chose to have all our meals at the resort! ⸻ Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature without compromising on comfort, views, or service. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

In the name of resort nothing facilities available. Location also not too great. No bar facility, no spa. Food options very limited. Maintenance is very pathetic, Faucets leaking, smelly towels.

Booked this pathetic hotel for 2 nights due to some last minute changes in itenarary as lachen and lachung had travel restrictions.Rooms absolutely small with no ventilation at all with small bed and stinky bathrooms due to zero ventilation.To add feather to the cap you can hear each and every minute sound from other rooms all night .Also the room given to us was at the end near some staff house could hear them talk all night and to add to this shit experience all night the dogs kept barking.Paying per night for this experience is like torture.Coming to the food absolutely blend the dal had no salt and everyone at the dining area just looked so sad and fedup.Kindly requesting everyone to book this pathetic resort at own cost and risk .It was so horrible that the walls were closing in and claustrophobic had to checkout the next day loosing my bucks.Had taken a sprite previous night and they charged 105 bucks for a bottle of sprite .What audacity.Avoid avoid avoid at all costs.

Booked Cottage Super deluxe room - the view from room and balcony was absolutely fabulous and made the stay worthwhile. The hotel staff were genuinely helpful and quick in providing service, which added the overall comfort. However, the connecting road to the property is in poor condition, which makes the approach a bit challenging. The location is slightly away from the market, so you will mostly reply on the the in house kitchen, which currently offers limited food choices. There's definite scope for improvement in food quality and variety. Additionally, the contact numbers listed on the website were not reachable, so updating them with working numbers would be helpful for future guests. Also property has no playroom /activity room, so parents need to make arrangement for kids entertainment.

Property location & food is good , though won't find much variety in food , but room service needs improvement , some of the switch boards were not functional

1 rating is for the view from the property. However the room was smelly, bathroom was dirty, for the price it was really bad. The breakfast and dinner were pathetic to say the least. Very bad food. Overall, we only enjoyed the beautiful view of kanchenjunga mountains but otherwise too bad for the price

The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by a variety of flowers and trees that add to its charm. The entire place is well-decorated, and the location is also quite convenient. The staff were very courteous and helpful, and the food was above average. I would highly recommend staying at this property for 2-3 days if you're visiting Pelling.
