Beautiful view with Forest
Rooms were good with forest view and clean, they provided heater in every room. Road towards the hotel should be widen and leveled.

We ordered buttermilk and the price was 250 for 250ML, and the hotel did not mention this price on the menu. When we called they told us they refused to take it back and behaved roudhly.

I recently stayed at Sinclair Retreat, Ooty, and my overall experience was quite disappointing. The property itself has good potential, but the cleanliness and upkeep were far below expectations. The room was not clean when we checked in — the bedsheets looked stained, the sofas were dusty, and the bathroom lacked basic hand towels. When we requested them, the towels provided were dirty and clearly not fresh. Such hygiene issues made the stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. While the location and surroundings are nice, the lack of proper housekeeping and attention to detail really took away from the overall experience. I hope the management addresses these issues seriously, as this could otherwise be a great place to stay with better maintenance and service standards.

Poor Stay
Services are not upto the mark. I booked 4 rooms and in one of my rooms, the housekeeping guy entered unannounced with a master key in the wee hours. It was shocking. I booked Deluxe room and they are too congested. Not at all worth paying

Excellent Stay
Perched on top of the hill, the hotel provides a panaromic view of the Ooty. service is good, bathrooms are bit cramped. It's a great option and value for money

Terrible Stay
the only good thing about the hotel is the location and the staffs. the rooms were small and the bathroom never saw a crooked and tiny bathroom in my life. food menu was very very very limited. the amount they charge for the room is toooo much. the entry to the hotel is via tea factory which is crowded during weekends and have to wait for atleast 15 minutes to cross the path. stay away Positive: scenic views from the hotel, hot water was coming all the time and the staffs courtesy. Negative: hotel is located in a narrow road next to tea factory which is too crowded during weekends which prevents us to reach the hotel. Food options were very limited and very mediocre. The rooms were damp, with poorly maintained. The towels and bedspreads had stains. The bathroom was so tiny that I have never seen such a small one. Would never stay in this hotel again and will not recommend to anyone

Excellent Stay
Excellent experience and hospitality. Special shout out for Naveen, Sumanto and Pinkar. Food is great, service awesome and eye for details for customers. This hotel is situated at good location but need renovation a bit but their staff are serving beyond expectations which is making great customer satisfaction and delightful experience. Thank you once again Naveen, Pinkar and Sumanto. We thoroughly enjoyed and look forward to see you guys soon again.

Terrible Stay
Our experience at this property in Ooty was very poor and nowhere close to what was promised. broken amenities. Service was extremely slow and unprofessional, with staff showing little interest in helping guests. The food was below average, overpriced, and often not available as per the menu. Basic facilities like Wi-Fi not working or poorly managed. Since restaurant food is overpriced and not good, we have ordered outside food which was not allowed. Staffs no one knows local language for communication. For the price charged, the quality was unacceptable. Definitely not value for money. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Ooty.

Couple Stay
The hotel is located on the hill ....very old furniture and small rooms with compact toilets..highly overpriced looking to the facilities.. Breakfast has many varieties but not good...Also the garden view room is not worthy of such high price.... don't even have a hair dryer in the room... overall a bit overpriced hotel...can get some good options at better prices.

Terrible Stay
I alongwith my wife and son stayed in this hotel in Ooty. This hotel has not been maintained since long. Infra is very old and dirty. Bathroom and rooms are small and smelly. No taps in bathing area only shower. Don't be misled with internet photos. Food is pathetic. Overall we felt disappointed with this hotel. However, we found cordial and co-operative staff. Try to explore some good hotel on your vacation, otherwise your trip will get ruined. Thanks for reading. For Hotel management: Please improve your infra(particularly cleanliness in bathrooms and common area) and kitchen services for the people who book your hotel with a lot of hope. A little effort from your side may provide memorable experience to your guests.
