I recently stayed at Sinclair Retreat, Ooty, and my overall experience was quite disappointing. The property itself has good potential, but the cleanliness and upkeep were far below expectations.
The room was not clean when we checked in — the bedsheets looked stained, the sofas were dusty, and the bathroom lacked basic hand towels. When we requested them, the towels provided were dirty and clearly not fresh. Such hygiene issues made the stay uncomfortable and unpleasant.
While the location and surroundings are nice, the lack of proper housekeeping and attention to detail really took away from the overall experience. I hope the management addresses these issues seriously, as this could otherwise be a great place to stay with better maintenance and service standards.
