Review Of Nigeen Lodge The Lake Resort, Srinagar

The hotel stay is nice, comfortable with good amenities. It's lake view beside is very exciting and we had a great time sitting outdoors. Even the staff there are also very helpful. We have enjoyed a great trip in kashmir

Excellent location, greenery surrounding the property was pleasant and pleasing to the eyes. Rooms and washrooms clean. Food was excellent.

Location: this is not what is shown in pictures. The location is very clumsy and one can feel unsafe while making his/her way back to hotel. Very narrow passages lead to this hotel's entrance. One does not get auto or cabs easily from here. Unprofessional staff: this staff here is very thrifty. They will disguise you into making auto bookings through them. Also they would ask for tip time to time. Over expensive food: the food here is not good and over expensive. To sum up i would suggest taking a hotel near dal lake. Avoid this at all cost.

If you want to stay in peace then must try this place. All aspects are good. Owner and caretaker both are very helpful and nice guys. Food is also simple and good. Kahwa is also good. Must try this place.

They said no room vacant after taking the final payment and not refunded it back

It was our last day at srinagar and we found the most precious place to stay. Quiet and calm. Eye soothing. Its situated beside the nigeen lake and yes it was a little bit far from centre. And that is why it is so neat and clean. And you can do your shikara ride in front of your room. The owner saqlain quadri is a very smart boy who maintained the lodge pretty well. I wish him all the best every possible way. And finally after check out from the lodge on the way to airport i suddenly realized i left my engagement ring ( platinum ring which is around 1 lac bdt) into the room. Immediately called him and he found this and keep it. I turn around to the lodge and get it. So if you have any issues in safety, nigeen lodge at its best. My favourite place in Srinagar to enjoy with my family or friends. It's so cool and calm. I recommend this to everybody to experience this. You will forget rest of the places. I got so impressed by the food quality there. And the view outside window and in the garden is heavenly.
