familyHad booked d shamoon based on the good reviews but they scammed me like cheap hotels. On reaching the hotel i was told that i will be put up in a different hotel due to some water issues as by then the driver had left i asked them to drop me at the other hotel as i had two small children and luggage. They kept me waiting for an hour telling us that a car would be there in 5-10mins. It was only after we started to walk to the hotel that an auto rickshaw was arranged. On reaching the other hotel we realised it didn't deserve even half the price while the reception at d shamoon told us that we are sending u to a higher property but didn't have a choice or energy after an overnight journey. They had no answer when asked why didn't they inform about the non availability of the room beforehand. Such hotels spoil your trip.

The property is newly constructed and well maintained. The staff was helpful and supportive. Though there were few power cuts but that was quite normal all over in kashmir. They provided a blower which was sufficient to keep the room hot and water heater was also readily available most of the time. Frankly speaking we were quite concerned while choosing the hotel on mm t since i have 3 yr old daughter but believe me it was a wise choice and we didn't feel regret in choosing it. We felt very much comfortable over here. At last, one more point i forgot to highlight was the food which was very delicious and we enjoyed it a lot. Thank you very much for providing such excellent hospitality.

Overall good experience at d shamoon

groupStaying at d shammon was overall good. Staffs were helpful. The problem is electricity, they barely have it leads to no lift, less time geyser facilities. Room is good worth the money
