Actually this is not a hotel, not a resort or not a home stay, it is simply a house with an owner without basic facilities for a stay. Place is unsafe in respect to security safety, health and for any other biological hazards. I strongly urge people not to stay here as well as take my trip to cancel it from the booking. Most of the time, the room doesn't have a power supply, the owner never wants to run dg, even we, 4 families stay night without lights, power supply. No facilities for food and hand wash. If you want to take food, you need to move 7 km without any mode of transport. The owner will take 700 money to transport the bike.

Warm welcome inspite of our late check in at night. Responsible hosts took good care of our senior family members. Lake view was awesome from rooms. However room condition/lights/bathroom fittings could be better.

We had a wonderful stay at House & Home. Despite booking at the last minute, incredibly accommodating. We visited as a family of four, and our toddler absolutely loved running around the lush green lawn. The apple orchard had just begun to bloom, adding to the beauty of the place. Although the road leading to the property is a bit narrow, access via Shikara is smooth and convenient even arranged one for us, making it a memorable experience to tick off our bucket list. The food, also prepared was excellent. We enjoyed Wazwan on both nights, and it was beautifully presented and served with care. If you’re visiting Srinagar with your family for more than a night, we highly recommend spending at least one night here.

House and home is a perfect homestay which i have visited so far. The property is surrounded with beautiful nigeen lake and view of the mountains are mesmerizing. We were served with delicious authentic kashmiri food and kahwa daily. Rooms are neat and clean and very well maintained.

Beautiful and quaint property at the bank of nigeen lake with mesmerising lake and mountain views. The lawn and the mesmerising view of lake and mountains is like if you just want to relax in kashmir. This should be your go to place. Our host mr. Ali and his family will make you feel at home. He made sure our room was warm before we reached as there has been sudden drop of temperature. They will serve you authentic kashmiri cuisine with utmost hospitality. He help us with our itinerary and provided us with boots though we were not aware of their importance, only to realize later. And cherry on top was the complimentary shikara ride in nigeen lake. For us now visiting kashmir will be synonymous with stay at 'house & home.

We got shikara ride and also hospitality services was very good offered by manager aga ali. Also 24 hrs power supply was available. Fully satisfied with the services of house and home. We were also served welcome tea. Also hotel was children friendly and food was also available.

It was amazing to stay at house and home nag-in lake srinagar. It is out of the crowd dal lake. Nag-in lake view is also good. Owner/manager mr. Ali has arranged to receive us by shikara (mama miyan) with smiling face. Ali and his father were present to receive us. Both greeted us and welcomed as a family member. They are having big lawn on the bank of nag-in lake which view is excellent specially in night. Ali is very cooperative in providing all support like arranging taxi for sonamarg and local conveyance for srinagar site seeing. Their free breakfast and paid dinner realized the real taste of kashmir. All facilities provided by ali could be customized and slightly manageable as per our convenience. We recommend to stay at this property. It was surly worth stay.

Property was good, clean. The owner ali was very cooperative and helpful. We got good homemade breakfast and dinner. Overall it was nice stay at house and home.

Beautiful place lake view facing homely premises to stay with family.

The stay is excellent and very memorable. It's a pleasant stay and remarkable. The atmosphere is clean and zero pollution. I advise to all visitors once you stay and then review.

Our first visit to kashmir and we couldn't have asked for better. We arrived at the stay by a complimentary shikara ride which was mesmerizing and welcomed by a kashmiri kahwah. The view from the rooms was one of best ever. We could see the snow peaked mountains even in april and the beautiful nigeen lake and the shikara riders. The rooms and washrooms were traditional and clean. Manager ali is always around and helped us plan each and every day. We visited offbeat places that he suggested and had a fantastic time there. Host's family always made us feel at home. We were served with delicious home cooked kashmiri delicacies and everyone treated with love and respect. We witnessed the kashmiri hospitality at it's best and we are going carry the memories for a long time. Definitely visiting again.

The stay was outstanding we had a lovely time in the beautiful property surrounded by mountains and nigeen lake view, a big lush green garden with nice trees and birds chirping all day, clean surrounding and neat rooms and clean washroom with hot and cold water and electric blanket in the bed. Excellent food and nice welcome kehwa saffron green tea. We also had a welcome shikara ride complimentary both veg and non veg food available. Cozy rooms perfect for family with big dining hall. Nice room service and support of hotel stay very cooperative mr ali manager truly heaven on earth to enjoy nature and stay in srinagar.
