WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE This was hands down the WORST hotel experience of my life. The Marriott Miami Biscayne Bay is an absolute disguised as a hotel. They charged me a ridiculous $400 for “incidentals” without any explanation. When I asked about it, they gave me some shady excuse that it was $100 per day, which is absurd. I’ve stayed at much better hotels that didn’t even come close to charging such outrageous fees. If that wasn’t bad enough, on the day of checkout, they hit me with an extra $158 charge, claiming it was for Wi-Fi and “other stuff.” Seriously? They didn’t even bother to inform me at check-in that Wi-Fi wasn’t free, which is completely unacceptable. Who charges this much for Wi-Fi in 2024? It’s clear they are intentionally misleading guests and profiting off hidden fees. The staff? Beyond RUDE. Every time I approached them for clarification, they acted annoyed and dismissive, offering no help whatsoever. It’s as if they know they’re ripping people off and just don’t care. To make it worse, I traveled from another state and paid a lot of money to stay here, only to be treated like this. This hotel is exploiting tourists because of Miami’s popularity, DO NOT STAY HERE. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the headache. This place doesn’t deserve anyone’s business. I’m appalled that Marriott allows their name to be associated with this disgrace of a hotel.
