Best Western Empire Palace

Room is not good. Doesn’t meet the 4 star quality standards. I had to follow up for basic requirements like liquid soap…

They made us stay in a different hotel saying we dont have room available as they overbooked luckily makemytrip handled it greatly we want to thank miss komal for the effort they talked to the hotel and arranged us a room next day. Hotel is too noisy. Except our first day experience breakfast is nice rooms are clean but small. Location is amazing

Everyone is very helpful, the manager is very friendly and witty. They look out for all help you would need for a comfortable stay. The location is fantastic, very near to the tram stations with all the tourist locations nearby

Hotel is located in the old Town, very close to the blue mosque. Small rooms with no king size beds, only queen size. Staff is polite but like all turkish, always expecting tips.

This was a budget hotel for couple stays with good location in middle of city with wide access to all the amenities. Great sea side location with metro access across the street. Away from airport but worth it for middle class families.

Fantastic stay at Istanbul... Very good location of the hotel.. Walking to all the famous sightseeing places. Hotel staff is very cordial especially Suleman, who guided us genuinely and advised us correctly. Stayed July 2016, travelled as a couple.

We stayed as a family of 3 for 3 nights. 1. Location is excellent in close walking proximity to The Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia, Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. 2. Lots of restaurants in the area that work late into the night. 3. Tram right outside the front door. 4. Excellent staff. Very helpful. 5. Breakfast was bad. Very limited options. 6. FYI: Taxi from Ataturk Airport cost us TRY 60. Shuttle options available from hotels to Airport for 5 per person only. Would not advice taking the taxi if you have a weak heart. We tried it 4 times, and with the exception of one, the rest drove like maniacs. Stay in Sultanahmet area.

It is a good compact hotel very close to Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. The staff especially front office manager Cengez speaks great English and is very helpful. There is a tram station outside the hotel but it does not cause much disturbance. The airport transfer from the hotel was well organised and the breakfast was very good. I was with my wife and my 18 month infant.

After first night stay, I confirmed with them one more night after 2 days for the same rate and they agreed. But when I returned after two days they refused and wanted a higher rate which was unethical on their part. I was able to book a room at a lower rate on the net in the same hotel, where as they had said they did not have any room for a lower rate. This I find is a negative point on this hotel staff and management and this should be taken up at the highest level. Integrity is very important. Once agreed, they cannot and should not go back on their commitment. And they lied about room availability, because I was able to book in the same hotel within 2 minutes via MakeMyTrip website at a lower rate.

Good for a short stay business visit if the Place of work is near Eminonu or Sultanahmet. The surrounding area gets crowded during the day because of tourist population influx. Not a quiet place to stay if you are looking for serenity. Average hotel on the whole.
