Radisson Blu Hotel, Basel

while we check in , the receptionist Ms Monolisa was insisting for down payment. I explained to her that I booked through my usual web name my trip and all charges had been paid . But she persisted to the point of rudeness. Finally refused to pay . The whole exercise went for 32 minutes and it was after a long tiring journey of 13 hours ! As we checked inside the room , we could see that it a used room . No house keeping done after the last check out . we went down the lobby frustrated. The front office supervisor, stephanie was polite and she apologised. But no apologies can’t cover up the incompetency in a radisson hotel . I was given a comfortable room by 7 pm . I went for a shower and couldn’t open the bathroom door from inside or out side . The lock jammed . It was very scary and I have a high blood pressure condition. wife got panic. No body answering the telephone calls . front office or any number. she went down and pleaded . The hotel staff responded only after 52 minutes by breaking open the door . This is my experience I am using make my trip for last 5 years . After this , I will never trust make my trip to book my hotel rooms . bye
