Terrible Stay

Just by seeing the name of the hotel the immigration officer denied my entry to Japan saying this is a hotel where poor people and hippies stay. He questioned me saying what sort of doctor would stay in such poor hotels. He got me detained for 10hrs and I had to pay hefty fee for security charges + paid for all flights back. A very traumatic trip for me.

This place is known for creative inconvenience. You will have to lock your valuables in 3rd floor, sleep in a capsule in 6th or 7th floor, take bath along with all other naked men in 3rd floor and what not. I am never going back here again.

The place is pretty old and running as a old school japanese on-sen concept which could be strange for a foreign traveller. Its not close to the station and isn’t kept very clean. The neighborhood is pretty challenging as its full of touts all around.
