Easy access to airport

Wanted reasonable hotel near to the airport. This was perfect. Rooms were clean and quiet internet worked very well. Nice boulangerie next door was great for breakfast. Reception area had snacks and drinks. Would stay here again.

Nice staff and room

Very nice staff although no one speaks a word in English. The room was fine but the hallway was dark and worn out. Nice lobby and bar open 24/7. The breakfast was fine, bacon and eggs among other things.

Private Visit to Park Expo on ....

This hotel is just about ok if you are travelling to Montpellier to visit the Parc Expo Fair (it's walking distance - litterally just across the street), and have low/medium expectations and you're living on a shoe string budget (with no coorporate account paying..) The hotel (which looks/caters more like a Motel) is basically just thrown out in an industrial area next to the Montpellier airport with nothing to do at night (besides visiting the pizza joint next door, which happend to be very good). Please avoid the big restaurant right across the highway, its terrible. There is a tramstop outside the hotel to take you into Montpellier, but I never tried it (its probably a 15-20 min trip to downtown if you dont have a car, and I am quite sure it would be worth the ride to find a decent restaurant - when you are tired of pizza..) Back to the hotel: reception area is ok (based on a low/medium expectation, and the single staff also doubles as Bartender -draft beer was really good- and also works the morning shift the Breakfast room). Yes, this a low-cost operation and you get what you pay for in terms of staff attendance etc.. The breakfast itself was ok and included the basics (croissants, yoghurt, coffee/tea, juice, some cold cuts, eggs, bacon etc). The rooms are probably the best thing about this place (make sure to get a room on the upper floor), even though the view from my window was facing the dumpsters of the local KFC restaurant (with the garbage truck arriving 5 am on Monday morning..). Basically the room is in line with a good Holiday Inn Express standard: bathroom nice and clean, bed nice and comfy (but with these awful syntetic pillows that I can't stand..), also a desk, a tv etc = nothing special, but nothing to complain about, it was fine. The wi-fi is free, but dont expect too much, I had serious trouble to stay logged on for any period of time. But the worst thing was probably the experience going up the stairs from the reception and entering into the hallway leading to my room: the corridor was very badly lit, with a dark carpet and a stale smell of something (which must have been mould as any type of ventilation or air conditioning was non existant). I almost had a "horror movie" feeling when passing quickly down the corridor towards the room door. Also worth mentioning is that the room door lock itself is a joke and can probably be picked by a 10-year old.. so dont leave any valuables in the room (but i guess you dont do that anyway..). The fact that the room doors also are very thin, makes it very obvious when other guests are coming and leaving along the corridor.. Summary: This hotel is not suitable for a romance weekend, but quite ok (and very convienient) if you are visiting the Parc Expo Fair across the street and dont want to pay, or need to commute, by staying in downtown Montpellier. This is clearly a 2,5 star experience (not quite 2, but not 3 either). Would I go there again (if visiting the Parc Expo)? Perhaps, if they will upgrade the hallway lights, fix the ventilation and change the doors/locks.

Clean & good price

This is on the outskirts of Montpellier. It's noting special it comes with small but clean rooms plenty of parking and easy access to the city with the tram across the street at "Parc expo" station for €1.5 to Center of Montpellier . We wore passing through stayed 3 nights and visiting the costal towns near buy. Engined our stay, comes with breakfast for extra €8.5 however there is a beautiful bakery next door.

ne pas possible appeler entre ....

After spending a day in Marseille we drove to Montpellier and we spent one night in this hotel. The man at the desk spoke only French, his English was poor and his Spanish was nil. The room was very comfortable, cozy and spacious. The beds let us sleep great. We had tea using utensils which provided the room. The hotel is in an excellent location near the tram to Montepelier and beaches, pizza restaurant, a KFC and a cafeteria, and offers free parking. The best is the small "boulanger / patissier" next door with delicious breakfast croissants.
