Good hotel with great service, though a little off the city center

Overall the Novotel Bordeaux Centre was value for money. Good things Novotel Bordeaux Centre is clean with very helpful staff who all speak English they had the best croissant for breakfast that we had in our entire France trip very close to tram a line. Areas of improvement though we stayed when it was pretty cold, at nights it felt warm as if there was no ventilation, limited variety in breakfast especially for those who don't eat beacon or ham, the Novotel Bordeaux Centre is slightly away from the main city center and gets sort of deserted at night, so it's necessary to travel either via tram to Palais de justice and then walk or take an uber. Also, limited dining options close by.
