Overpriced and disaapointing
In 14 weeks of travel in South America the only place I stayed that was worse was a hostel. Think about that for a moment. My girlfriend and I wanted too stay somewhere that looked nice and after looking at the photos of the room and hotel we thought we had found a nice place, but we were quite wrong. Okay, we were dead wrong.
My first impression upon arriving was okay this should be good. The lobby was small, but clean looking. I come to ask about leaving our bags since we were quite early having taken a bus from Salta and the staff was indifferent. I had to ask to leave my baggage and the staff just nonchalantly pointed to a corner where I could drop my bags. Okay thanks. We come back later to check in and get our key to our room great. Upon getting to our room we squeeze into the room and I am seriously thinking this may be the smallest room I have ever booked. The room was comically small. Well I thought it will be fine. But I wasn't sure what to think of all the stains on the floor and the walls. Those aren't the walls or room they used for photos.
I need to go to the bathroom so when I look in there I see someones used soap and a shaving blade. Did they clean? Maybe or maybe not. Great. After sitting down on the toilet which felt like a kids plastic training seat I realize that this place is going to suck a lot.
After the bathroom I decided to go to bed. At least it did seem like they changed the sheets. Thank you for the courtesy. I lay down in bed and wanted to look up what restaurant we can eat at, but the wifi doesn't reach our room. Seriously?
Luckily I was able to jump on with my laptop, but the signal wasn't strong enough for my phone.
The next morning I go to free breakfast hoping for a change of fortune, but sometimes things sound too good to be true and a "free breakfast" at Novum is just that. Bread, butter, some fruit, coffee, and juice and a look from the staff that says okay hurry up and go so someone else can sit down.
I was so happy to leave this place and I really hope people do not make the same mistake we did and stay here. It was terrible.

a very good option to stay in cordoba, good location, good services, very clean and comfortable. tv and at least 2 bathrooms. wifi service and, what is more, they offer you breakfast in your room without even having to get off from your bed.

barely good for the price
The Hotel is far from downtown, rooms and bathroom too small, noisy, very old towels, not so good room service, leaking pipes, very poor room ventilation overall although cheap was barel good for the price

Friendship and close to downto....
Salta Suites is located in Salta Street, near 'Hospital de Urgencias' and main Cordoba Avenues, Plaza San Martín, and Avenida Olmos, where you may find shops, restaurants and cafés.
The Salta Suites staff is very friendship and helpful, and the ladies took time to help me with travel information and restaurant locations around, and -very important- to open my room door each time I need it, because electronic key doesn't work. Its broken for months, repaired with tape, and no solution...
That's the problem of Salta suites: room condition, wall condition (paint cleanliness), bathroom status (dirty spots in wall showers) and many details. Details: that's the key.
My room (204) is big enough for 2 pax but, the inadequate room space distribution and closet doors makes you feel trapped... Two beds, an one unnecessary cradle, a bathroom with 2 individual showers and a separated room for WC makes me feel unhappy...
Prices are ok, but if you feel unhappy, price is not the point.
The breakfast looks minimal, because its served on the lobby (reception), passed to you over the front desk in a tray, with all you may need: coffee or tea, some little local cakes (as facturas or similar), and that's it. Looks like a box lunch opened and served in a tray.
About kitchenette at room, it has a empty fridge but shows a price list of bottles and food you never see. No plates, or stove, just a microwave.
About Salta Street neighborhood, be careful at night (over 23h): act and walk with decision, open eyes, avoid dark and quiet streets around.

Hard to Beat....
Excellent value hotel for Córdoba, and after a couple of hours looking at expensive but shabby hotels we were happy to find it. Not 5* luxury, but at this price what do you expect? Tons better than any of the private room hostels we looked at, and cheaper than most. Room small but clean, comfy clean bedding, wifi working, cable flat screen, hot quite powerful shower, working AC, small kitchenette with microwave, but otherwise don't expect to cook. 15 walk from bus station and center. Area itself a little unsalubrious at night but ok. Hotel quite secure. All in all, if you want good value, book it. Friendliness of one or two of the staff a bit lacking, giving the impression they would rather not be there, and your presence is bothersome, otherwise I'd have given it a five. All in all, very good value for money in this city.
