Terrible Stay
I specially requested and chose king bed it was some special ocassion for me but they provided us two single bed we are couple. Receptionist directly denied for king bed and sad we are already booked we only have twin bed option. These was really annoying and unpleasant stay.

Good Stay
The service by all staff, from the porters to the front desk to the breakfast staff was excellent. All very friendly and always seeking to help. we really enjoyed the stay. The pool area was great and a fantastic way to beat the heat. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates good service, good ambience and comfortable room.

Terrible Stay
They had given me a room next to where renovation was going on and I was woken up early in the morning and there was sounds of hammering whole day,and while there was no renovation during night time still the sound proofing was low to none and I could hear the whole street

Terrible Stay
I have always loved staying at Surya, but this time, I was sleeping and even before the time of checkout, a MAN, just walked into my room. He claims to have knocked at the door and rang the bell three times, which by the way I didn’t hear. He came in and said housekeeping. I was sleeping, and I could’ve been in any position at that time. I was alone and it alarmed me and made me super anxious. The hotel manager gave me an excuse that it’s our policy to clean the room everyday. As a matter of fact I have stayed in Surya multiple times and no one has ever knocked claiming they have to clean the room. Surya should have a policy to check whether the room is still occupied and irrespective checking there might be a female guest, should avoid walking in. Giving excuses like we make sure to check if a person is okay or not I was so frustrated because I was sleeping and that in a state to be discovered by a random man. That led me to even skip my breakfast because I was so frustrated. I’m not sure if I would want to go back to Surya at all.

The property seems to be old but reasonably well maintained. The staff are good and courteous. The breakfast has got a wide spread but the quality is average. The room service menu is highly priced.

Food was good but its price so high. Property was so good, its worth the money. The breakfast was also good. The room service was also good. As the rooms was so good, clean and spacious. The concern about the unknown minibar where without info the snacks items kept in room and latter the charges applied.

Comfortable Stay
I came here with my kids and a wife. The stay was very comfortable. The breakfast and the servers are very helpful. But, the TV in both of our rooms has a problem.

Good Stay
It was a short one day trip yet very comfortable. Newly done rooms were a treat to eyes. Staff as usual was very courteous and the buffet was delicious. Surya is a home away from home.
