Review Of Taj Taal Kutir

We went to Taj Taal Kutir for a one-day staycation, and it was a truly delightful experience. The legendary Taj hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. What stood out was the exceptional service; despite having booked through a third-party app, the front desk graciously accommodated our request for a preferred room without any hesitation. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly courteous and warm, making our short stay feel special. The property itself is beautiful, with a serene ambiance that makes it a perfect getaway from the city's hustle.[4, 5] The hotel's own water bodies are well-maintained and running, adding to the tranquil atmosphere. However, a small word of advice for future guests: due to the hotel's proximity to the large Eco Park lake, the outdoor sit-out areas can get quite infested with mosquitoes, especially in the evening. It's a good idea to carry a mosquito repellent cream like Odomos to comfortably enjoy the lovely balconies and outdoor spaces. This minor point aside, our stay was wonderful. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious staycation!

The deluxe king bed is incorrect as 'king' beds are smaller than the usual. The 'balcony' with certain rooms have no space for chairs.

Overall experience was very good with good food, ambience and hospitality by Simran from front desk....nice for 1 or 2 night getaway.....our lake facing suite had an excellent view and suite was good

Had a wonderful stay at Taj Taal Kutir, Kolkata. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is top-notch. A special mention to Simran, the Duty Manager, who made the experience extra special with her warmth and professionalism. Truly Taj hospitality at its best!

We had a really pleasant stay at Taj Taal Kutir. The staff were very cordial. We enjoyed the pool and the lovely views. The food was really good at both the Lakeview Lounge - highly recommend the hot chocolate; and the Verandah restaurant. Breakfast service was prompt and the spread was really good. Overall a really good time had by u entire family.

The experience in Taj Talkutir was superb starting from arrival welcome, to room briefing and baggage transfer. The experience at Varandah Restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast was of “ TAJ” Quality. The overall ambience was superb.

It’s a beautiful property with great staff and overall hospitality. Nice clean pool and very relaxing views. The food was also great. The only drawback was the size of the rooms which felt small and cramped. A special note of appreciation for the overall staff warmth and hospitality.

Everything was picture perfect. Food stay decoration everything. Breakfast was with limited menu but very good service and quality tasty food.

I could not stay there. I informed it your salt Lake office immediately on 8th August. I had a talk to one of your staffs to refund or adjust. My elder sister had a cardiac arrest on that day. Being a doctor, I had to attend her . I am a regular client of MMT . So I requested to consider the medical emergency. She assured me that higher authority will definitely consider and talk to me within two to three days, but I am sorry to say no one contact me till date. I could not stay there. I informed it your salt Lake office immediately on 8th August.

The location of this property next to Eco Park Kolkata is great specially for those who want to explore this area of Newtown. The food is excellent. The views of the lake from the dining room is great. The service is top quality. All in all it was a wonderful experience

Gold and silver ornaments worth 20k got stolen from our bag along with 50k cash, after 2 hours of checking in the hotel. We came back after 3 hours to the hotel and found the room was clean even though we didn’t call for any house keeping. No action being taken yet by the hotel.
