Overall experience was very good with good food, ambience and hospitality by Simran from front desk....nice for 1 or 2 night getaway.....our lake facing suite had an excellent view and suite was good

Had a wonderful stay at Taj Taal Kutir, Kolkata. The property is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is top-notch. A special mention to Simran, the Duty Manager, who made the experience extra special with her warmth and professionalism. Truly Taj hospitality at its best!

We had a really pleasant stay at Taj Taal Kutir. The staff were very cordial. We enjoyed the pool and the lovely views. The food was really good at both the Lakeview Lounge - highly recommend the hot chocolate; and the Verandah restaurant. Breakfast service was prompt and the spread was really good. Overall a really good time had by u entire family.

The experience in Taj Talkutir was superb starting from arrival welcome, to room briefing and baggage transfer. The experience at Varandah Restaurant for Dinner and Breakfast was of “ TAJ” Quality. The overall ambience was superb.

It’s a beautiful property with great staff and overall hospitality. Nice clean pool and very relaxing views. The food was also great. The only drawback was the size of the rooms which felt small and cramped. A special note of appreciation for the overall staff warmth and hospitality.

Everything was picture perfect. Food stay decoration everything. Breakfast was with limited menu but very good service and quality tasty food.

I could not stay there. I informed it your salt Lake office immediately on 8th August. I had a talk to one of your staffs to refund or adjust. My elder sister had a cardiac arrest on that day. Being a doctor, I had to attend her . I am a regular client of MMT . So I requested to consider the medical emergency. She assured me that higher authority will definitely consider and talk to me within two to three days, but I am sorry to say no one contact me till date. I could not stay there. I informed it your salt Lake office immediately on 8th August.

The location of this property next to Eco Park Kolkata is great specially for those who want to explore this area of Newtown. The food is excellent. The views of the lake from the dining room is great. The service is top quality. All in all it was a wonderful experience

Gold and silver ornaments worth 20k got stolen from our bag along with 50k cash, after 2 hours of checking in the hotel. We came back after 3 hours to the hotel and found the room was clean even though we didn’t call for any house keeping. No action being taken yet by the hotel.

Hospitality was so good as always in taj, when i cheked late night hotel give me warm welcome. But room size no so good. One small things i want to inform to hotel management Soap in bathroom for hand wash was not comfortable due to very hard sharp corners , i informed at hotel also.

From the moment they arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make their stay incredibly special and memorable. A heartfelt thank you to Jayshree, the manager in charge, who personally ensured they had a beautiful sit-out balcony—giving them the most serene and private view to relax and enjoy each other’s company. A special mention also to Chef Sonu from the in-house restaurant, who curated a custom menu for their anniversary dinner. The food was exceptional—especially the lamb chops, which were melt-in-the-mouth tender, and the desserts, particularly the tiramisu and pavlova, were absolutely exquisite. My parents, who rarely take time out for themselves, came back glowing with joy and gratitude. Their two-day stay at Taj Tal Kutir was everything I had hoped for and more—a perfect blend of luxury, warmth, and personal touches that made them feel so cherished. I would wholeheartedly recommend Taj Taal Kutir to anyone looking to celebrate something special or simply enjoy a peaceful, pampered getaway. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression.
