Calcutta Bungalow| Heritage Rooms

One of the best stays and experiences we ever had, we choose to stay one day in kolkata to explore the city and were looking for something which gives the essence of the city and this place is so apt and charmingly beautiful that you will feel not leaving your room at all. The interiors are aesthetic and there is great level of detailing even in the tiniest of things. The location is also very peaceful and easily accessible. Also the complimentary breakfast is a treat to have. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste the old world charm of calcutta.

This my third stay since 2019. The rooms are as lovely, atmospheric and clean as they were when the establishment opened. Staff are a rare combination of natural, attentive and caring; if anything they have grown in confidence and sophistication. The included breakfast is generous and superb especially the Bengali offering (best aloo paratha on the planet!) There is an air of casual elegance, bordering on luxury about the place and it is a perfect oasis in the midst of a charming but raucous, Shyambazar. Most highly recommended.

That was my 2nd visit to the Boipara suite and words won't suffice. The ambiance, the nostalgia it brings of the Older times is amazing. Neat and clean rooms with every possible amenities available. Locality is clean and calm. My only regret is not being able to taste their lunch as we had commitments outside. Also i found that the band of Snowy and Patchy broke up 😞 I will definitely visit again. Team, please keep up the good work. You guys keep Bangaliana rock and rolling.

I recently stayed at calcutta bungalow, and it was a memorable experience. The rooms were charming and spotless, with a decor that truly captured the essence of kolkata. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to ensure i had a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions, and the food offered a delicious taste of local flavors. Overall, a wonderful place to experience kolkata’s unique charm. Highly recommended!

The stay was excellent. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff is also really good. The breakfast that they serve is really appetizing and good in quantity. I would recommend this to especially tourists visiting kolkata from abroad.

Found the venue online. Great ambience. Very elegant. Good service, which includes food and a cafeteria.

It was lovely to stay in such a beautifully restored building. The chef alamigar cooked us delicious breakfast and the other staff were very friendly and helpful.

The stay was awesome. We received a lovely welcome from the Calcutta Bungalow| Heritage Rooms staff, who were also very helpful. The way they spoke to us was truly sincere. So, i would rate 5/5 as everything was perfect.

If you have to visit kolkata once in your lifetime, make it worthwhile by staying here. The heritage decor, facilities, and hospitality is top-notch.
