Excellent Stay
Beautiful location with good view. Well kept rooms and excellent service. Good breakfast buffet with variety of food and live kitchen for dosa and egg items.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sterling Resort, Ooty, and it was a truly memorable experience. The property is beautifully located amidst the lush greenery of the Nilgiris, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The food at the resort was delightful – from the variety at the buffet to the taste and quality, everything was impressive. The restaurant staff was attentive, and the spread had a good mix of local and continental options to suit different tastes. The facilities at the property are excellent. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with all modern amenities for a comfortable stay. The resort also offers recreational activities and a play area, making it suitable for both families and couples. What stood out most was the warm hospitality and courteous staff who made sure every detail of our stay was taken care of. We had a truly wonderful stay! The location is excellent, surrounded by a beautiful diversity of flowers that make the premises even more charming. We stayed at Sterling Ooty Fern Hill from 27th to 30th August 2025 and had a truly delightful experience. The property is set in a serene, peaceful location that makes it perfect for a relaxing holiday. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding. Everyone was proactive and always on their toes to help. Special thanks to Mr. Aftaab (Manager) who personally checked in on our food preferences and the well-being of my kids. At checkout, he even greeted us personally and handed muffins and sandwiches to my kids as a goodwill gesture — such thoughtful hospitality! Also, Ms. Mayansora (Assistant Manager) deserves special mention for her patience, kindness, and the way she handled our concerns with a warm smile. Overall, the combination of a beautiful location, peaceful ambiance, and excellent hospitality made our stay truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ooty- shehbaz shaikh

Sterling has got awesome views. you need atleast a day to enjoy the serenity in the resort. every employee greets us with a smiling face and is really helpful. you should not miss the trekking and in the resort activities. Rooms were very neat and comfortable. I stayed there for three days and i would suggest to opt for breakfast and dinner inclusive packages. It might look like far away stay from Lake and other places but actually not. Worth the money and booking with MMT gives you additional discount. Poor Stay
Experience wasn’t nice. As we expected a lot better room from 4 star hotel. Photos and actual room didn’t match. It looked like an older rooms. Mattress was bigger than the bed. There was no mini fridge in the room despite being mentioned in the amenities section. There was no hanger in the bathroom. Overall experience is really bad.
