I had a very disappointing stay at Sterling Fern Hill, Ooty. The overall experience did not meet expectations for a reputed brand like Sterling. The room was below 3 star standard only and telephone , Kettle , Water heater were not working in the room ,there was not bucket or a mug in the toilet , I stayed only one day and the maintenance team of the hotel came to my room more than 10 times to sort these issues . some noise of the machines was there through out the day due to some renovation in the nearest room which made the stay even more unpleasant.
For the price charged, the experience was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend this property unless major improvements are made in service quality, maintenance, and guest care.
