Excellent Stay
Very comfortable stay. The property was very good. Excellent customer service and staff was very helpful. Special mention for Bishal from traveldesk. He was very proactive and helpful for all travel needs. Quality of food and taste was awesome. Definitely worth visiting again.

Altogether a hassle free modest stay for the price.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, from recommending local attractions to assisting with luggage. The service was truly exceptional and made our trip memorable. everything about this place, from the traditional cozy ambiance to the taste of authentic Indian food, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for richness in flavors, enlightenment of tastebuds or simply finger licking good delight. All staffs Mr Talim, Mr Sohail, Sancha, Jabed, Osama and the beautiful Amisha had make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Location as well very good & delight 😊

Perfect stay with amazing hospitality!!!
After planning for two years me and my husband finally reached gangtok and I must say I am surprised with the level of hospitality ,service and ambience of Lemon tree gangtok.From the point of checkin were taken care completely.Anything you need you just need to call and within 5 mins your request is completed.Each and every staff here is absolutely well behaved and systematic.We had a amazing view from the room and the room was very clean and cozy. Coming to the food part the Fnb team is nothing less than perfect.Alisha ,Deepraj ,Norden and Peter are just amazing.Everytime we placed a request for something within 5 mins the service was completed even in a busy full packed scenario.The dinner buffet is good however the could improve breakfast buffet.No complains as such.Can blindly book this property for a comfortable and amazing stay at gangtok.Cheers to the entire team.Best wishes .Room 222.

Excellent Stay
Lemon tree in Gangtok is a top notch premium hotel. The hotel's decor is a blend of modernity and tradition. We stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel. The room was clean spacious and the interiors are classy and luxurious. The bathrooms are well designed with adequate toileteries provided. The food in the restaurant is tasty and delicious with a range of Indian, Pan Asian and Continental delicacies. The staff at the reception, housekeeping and restaurant are extremely couteous, friendly and helpful. A great place to stay in Gangtok

4 Star Lemontree Hotel Gangtok Heading : A Warm Sikkimese Welcome at Lemon Tree Hotel, Gangtok From the moment we arrived, Lemon Tree Gangtok stood out for its warmth and hospitality. We were greeted with a traditional Sikkimese welcome, setting the tone for a memorable stay. Special thanks to Ayush at the front desk for his friendly demeanor and to Mr. Bhim at the travel desk for going above and beyond. When our pre-booked cab from Bagdogra didn’t show up, Mr. Bhim arranged an alternative on the spot—a lifesaver in the hills! Despite arriving late, our check-in was smooth, with the room ready and luggage promptly delivered. The room itself was clean and well-prepared, including the additional foldable bed we had requested, which was already set up before our arrival—a thoughtful touch. The hotel is equipped with all basic amenities: a safe, refrigerator, and a balcony with city views. But what truly set Lemon Tree apart was its provision of both an AC and a fan, a rarity in Gangtok and a necessity for us. This practical feature, combined with its central location, made it a more appealing choice than properties like Mayfair, which are further from the city center. Culinary Delights The dining experience was a highlight of our stay. Day 1 featured a buffet dinner with an impressive spread of Indian dishes, balancing vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. From fish and chicken delicacies to pasta, Kashmiri pulao, burnt garlic noodles, and chicken kadai with naan, every dish was delightful. The chicken soup was so good that even my son—who rarely enjoys soup—relished it. Desserts like hot gulab jamun, vanilla ice cream, and the exceptional khaja sweet were a perfect finale. Breakfast was equally satisfying, offering a mix of North and South Indian staples such as paratha, poori, dosa, and idli. The dosa and chutney, in particular, stood out for their authenticity. Muffins and other sweet treats rounded out the spread, making for a delicious start to the day. Chef Suman and attendant Deepraj ensured every meal met our expectations, taking feedback graciously. On days when occupancy was low and buffets weren’t available, the team offered an à la carte selection. Dishes like chicken thukpa (a bit too spicy for our taste), local chicken curry, veg manchurian, fried rice, butter naan, and the luscious rice kheer were prepared to perfection. Even with a set menu, the staff’s flexibility to accommodate our preferences was commendable. Room for Improvement While the overall experience was excellent, the centralized AC system was a constant source of frustration. Despite having a control panel in the room, adjustments had to be made manually by the AC operator, often requiring nightly calls to switch to cooling mode. This inconvenience detracted from the otherwise seamless experience. Individual temperature controls in each room would vastly improve guest comfort. Beyond the Hotel A special mention for the incredible people of Sikkim, who embody kindness and discipline. Whether it was the hotel staff, the drivers arranged by the hotel, or the general public, everyone we interacted with was polite and helpful. A heartwarming moment stood out when one of our drivers went out of his way to assist a biker who had lost his way, offering directions with a smile and a sincere “drive safe.” It’s rare to see such road discipline and courtesy, and it’s something the rest of India could truly learn from. Final Thoughts Lemon Tree Gangtok offers a blend of thoughtful hospitality, practical amenities, and an excellent location. While the AC system needs urgent attention, the warmth of the staff and the charm of the region make this property a fantastic choice for travelers. A big thank you to the attendants Deepraj, Sapna, Sudan, and Mingsu for making our stay memorable. Sikkim’s beauty is matched only by its people, and our experience at Lemon Tree was a testament to that. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Gangtok!
