Review Of Lake Avenue by Stay Pattern - Dal Lake

I had booked the hotel primarily because it showed a small pond-like water body, almost like a mini lake or a swimming pool, which looked very beautiful in the photos. However, upon arriving at the hotel, I found out that there was nothing like that — just a simple garden. This was extremely disappointing and disgraceful for me, as I had specifically chosen the hotel because of that attraction point. But in reality, it didn’t exist at all.

It’s been a good trip. Good, helpful staff. Good, clean rooms. Good location. Good hotel. Only problem was electricity supply. It’s not affecting this hotel but everyone around. Hotel management must find a way to have continuous nonstop availability of services such as hot water and room heating.

Found wasps in the curtains. And 1 of them sting-ed on my arm. Cant sleep no warm water. Terrible experience

Location very good. Rooms clean. Staff very good and helpful. Main problem was keeping the rooms warm. Electricity kept going off. Heating system stopped working. Weather cold. Rooms god cold and difficult to sleep. Hotel must take meaningful action to deal with this problem. Otherwise not many people would comeback to stay at this hotel.

Average stay - first of all this is not in main dal boulevard as mentioned in address while booking which we found out when we were booking cab to reach hotel from srinagar airport. This is in nishat area which is quite far from main dal boulevard. Also the service is quite slow. Limited breakfast options. Only positive thing is it’s on the main road facing dal lake. Auto drivers or taxi drivers will charge a lot to reach there.

Rooms are small. Doors look old from the 19nth century. No room has mountain view they have trees view instead. Overpriced and they do not let you cancel the stay as well.

Location ideal to visit nishat, shalimar bagh, botanical garden, chashma shahi, pauri mahal, shikhar ride. Food okay, services average.

Worst experience ever. Food not serving in room. Beyond 10am u dont get any food even if u r in buffet. Bathroom is smelly. Room service is poor

Location dal lake ke samne hai but main dal lake market se 7 km door hai isolated hai. Rooms ache hai but small hai price ke according. Food ok hai

Nice stay. Cooperative staff. They have their in-house restaurant which is clean & provide good food.

This property is located at dal lake, has nice rooms, but fooding service is not good. There are lots of areas to improve. Kitchen staffs were not well trained. Even we had to pay every time if we had something on spot. This is not a regular practice any where.

The location of the hotel is along the backside of the dal lake, crowded free peaceful area. The rooms are spacious with clean bathrooms. The breakfast was good. I stayed here for two nights, with my family in two premium deluxe rooms. The persons at the desk, arshad and altaf, were very helpful. We enjoyed staying here.

Location is at perfect place. In room dine-in not available and kitchen timing is not travel friendly because breakfast opens at 8:30 am.
