Review Of Gulmarg Woods by Stay Pattern - Gondola

On our recent trip to Kashmir we stayed in Gulmarg at the Gulmarg Woods Hotel. We had booked 2 premier rooms with balcony. It was an awesome stay for 2 nights at this place. The view was amazing, location was great. Washrooms were clean with hot water available 24x7. The food served by Firdaus was very good and tasty.We felt very homely. All in all it was an excellent stay at this place. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit. I would strongly recommend this hotel for an excellent stay in Gulmarg Thanks to all the staff who helped us in making our stay a memorable one.

If you’re expecting luxury after paying a hefty amount, please don’t. The stay is very basic — old, dirty, and torn bed sheets were a letdown. While the food portions were generous, the quality left much to be desired. The passage leading to the room was muddy, and the bathroom latch was broken, which was inconvenient. On a positive note, the room had good heaters, and the staff did try their best to resolve the issues. However, these efforts don’t justify the steep price. For ₹4,000–₹5,000 a night, this place is acceptable. But you’d be better off staying two nights in a five-star hotel in Sonmarg or Pahalgam

Excellent room . Service is good. Breakfast is very simple but delicious.All amenities were there. Snow capped mountains.

Property service was not good and it’s like in their wish they were serving overall it’s been average

What a wonderful time we had with our hosts Riyaz and Shakila and their most hospitable supporting cast including Tariq among others. A great secluded location, close enough to the main sights in Srinagar and surrounding areas. Sumptuous and generous portions for every meal; very reasonable pricing. The room had everything we could've wanted: space, heating, a lovely view, sufficient bedding. A really calm front garden to relax in. Can't recommend it enough.

Excellent stay very well behaved and helpful staff as well as good amenities. Location is perfect - right between Gondola ride & Helipad.

Best location and view from room, prompt service and friendly staff, good heating arrangements and comfortable stay at -3°C, walking distance to gondola entry and next to helipad

location is awesome as the same is nearest to Gulmarg Gandola Ride Point food was also yummy washroom are quite smaller but having all basic amenities service needs to be improve

The stay was awesome right in the center that offers 360 degree view. The staff is very courteous and very generous. I will definitely recommend this

Fabulous location. Room is neat and view amazing. This snow covered hotel was picturesque. Food was good though not many options.

Misleading pictures. Terrible staff behaviour. Very pricey according to room size and services. Food was not at all tasty as compared to the high costs. Instead go to some other hotel for food. They're very rigid and reluctant to make changes. Heater doesn't work well.

Lovely cottages nested in the middle of meadow, surrounded by deodar. Just close to golf range. Offering picture postcards view every morning from your window. With sunshine peak visible rite through your window. Staff is too cordial. Food is good

Wooden cabins in snow best location and service . They have extremely comfortable stay . I loved the view and location .
