Check-in
The check-in experience felt somewhat informal. The front desk executive could have been more courteous, greeting guests warmly and creating a more welcoming first impression.
Rooms
We stayed in Room 403 on the 4th floor, with a pleasant view of the swimming pool. The room size was adequate for a family of four (husband, wife, and two kids).
Washroom
The washroom was spacious, but the dental kit and shower gel provided were insufficient for even a single day’s use and could have been of better quality.
Food
The food was tasty, though slightly overpriced. The restaurant staff were courteous and served meals promptly.
Lunch (₹1,100): Rice, chicken curry, aloo bhaja, and pan-fried noodles.
Dinner (₹1,200): Chilly chicken dry, tandoori roti, and dal makhani.
Breakfast was satisfying overall, but the chicken sausages were a bit oily.
Swimming Pool
The pool was clean and well-maintained. However, only spandex swimwear is allowed, and if you don’t have your own, you are required to purchase from the hotel. Drinks are not served in the pool area.
Incident
We accidentally broke a glass in the room and were charged ₹200. While understandable from a policy perspective, it felt a bit rigid considering the overall spend on accommodation and dining.
Checkout
Initially, the checkout process seemed smooth, with friendly interaction at the front desk. However, when I requested the bill, I was told that someone would be sent to the room to verify everything before it could be issued. This could have been handled more discreetly by verifying internally and simply asking the guest to wait.
Location
The hotel is near New Digha Beach, approximately 700 meters from the main road. It’s convenient if you have your own vehicle; otherwise, it’s a moderate walk.
Overall
A mixed experience — good in parts, but with room for improvement in service quality and guest handling.
