Hotel Sonar Bangla Mandarmani

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sonar Bangla, the ambience, the food and the Service were top notch. Loved the breakfast buffet most of all. The only thing I faced was unavailability of in-house Gym for those who require and the balcony on fewer rooms flood when it rains cats and dogs.

Mirror location or fitting is very embracing in room. If someone in sofa ...he or she must feel embrace when person gated in or out of washroom..we choose platinum room but we felt very bad being we are couple even. Everyone has self respect....hotel management must think about this...rest privileges was good

Stayed at Sonar Bangla Mandarmani recently. The property is spacious with lots of greenery, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Facilities were quite good overall. However, the food experience was underwhelming—the breakfast buffet was very disappointing and the food in general was not up to the mark. A decent stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in the dining department.

The rooms was good however AC remote was not working and the property needs some renovation. The dinner and breakfast was very good but lunch was average. The best part of the hotel is that it has a beautiful private sea beach.

Overall, the experience was pleasant, though there were a few areas of concern: 1. The rooms lacked blackout curtains, so the interiors stayed bright whether it was day or night. 2. We woke up around 4:30 AM to catch the sunrise, and after returning at around 6:30 PM, we tried ordering room service but no one was available. 3. The stairs leading down to the sea had algae growth, and I unfortunately slipped and sprained my ankle—perhaps just bad luck that day. On the positive side: 1. The resort’s location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the beach. 2. The waitstaff and housekeeping team were warm and courteous. 3. Both the swimming pool and the kids’ play area were fantastic. 4. While the property isn’t as large as some other HSB units, it is well-equipped with all necessary amenities. 5. The benches lined under the coconut trees made for a lovely, relaxing spot. 6. A designated stretch by the sea allows guests to sit and enjoy the soothing sound of the waves. 7. The Chinese food was outstanding, though the Indian cuisine could be improved. 8. Most importantly, my kids thoroughly enjoyed this little vacation.

it was an awesome experience, rooms, pool, garden, shop, resturant everything was top notch. I highly recommend everyone to go there and have fun. But one advice don't let them wash your car , they will mark some scratches 😑 had a bitter experience on that. except this the stay was classic
