Beautiful property . Location is very good with best room service. Mostly if you have Pet then this is the best place. Very pet friendly property.

Extremely poor condition of rooms. No maintenance at the property. Food quality is below average. Location is good but services at the property is below par.

Fantastic sea-view platinum rooms, nice garden, Barbecues were excellent Restaurant food is good but there is scope of improvement, there should be more activities like live performances spcly when Barbecue counter is closed (when guests are less) Jagannath Dham Digha is just 40 min away, that's great to visit

Location is good with some usual playing amenities and pool for kids. However some if the service staffs are arrogant and they fight with you if plan to take any food for your kid from the complimentary breakfast. They have the audacity to determine how much do you consume as it’s a complimentary breakfast. They think that this complimentary breakfast is charity they are doing. Even complains don’t work at the property. They don’t give a damn to the service and customer feedbacks

The property has its own private beach access with clean swimming pool and lovely rooms. Great ambiance with delicious food. If you wanna stay in Mandarmoni and enjoy pristine beaches of Bay of Bengal, then please stay only in Hotel Sonar Bangla only.

We had an excellent stay at the Platinum Room with a sea view at Sonar Bangla, Mandarmani. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view of the sea right from the balcony. The staff were courteous and attentive, and the service was prompt throughout our stay. The food was delicious, and the overall ambiance made it a perfect relaxing getaway. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and great views by the beach.

The location is great, with the beach just a few metres away, which makes it very convenient for a quick walk or a morning stroll. There’s also a convenient store inside the hotel premises, which comes in handy for basic needs. The staff are cordial, polite, and helpful, which adds to the overall pleasant stay. However, the major downside for me was the food. The quality was quite disappointing compared to the high prices they charge. We ordered fish dishes that were almost rotten — clearly not fresh, which was a huge letdown. Another thing to note is that the hotel does not allow guests to drink outside their rooms, which is a bummer, especially since they also don’t have an in-house bar. Most of the outdoor activities around the property wrap up by 9 PM, even on weekends when the place is crowded — that’s another disappointment if you’re looking for a livelier evening atmosphere. Lastly, be aware that the older buildings don’t have a lift (though they’re only two floors high). Still, it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re traveling with senior citizens or have heavy luggage

Excellent room condition with great tasty foods served . Buffet breakfast spread was good . Staff services have been top notch. Only issue had been no sand beach could be traced near hotel entrance. Overall good stay .

Cleanliness being the major issue seems while visiting the hotel this time. Food quality deteriorated from my previous visit. This hotel by brand of behaviour was not so poor earlier-. Need to improve drastically to bring back their image.

We completed our treat at Hotel Sonar Bangla with a very nice experience. Every staff here is very good. Starting from housekeeping to the staff in the restaurant, it is very good. Both the quality and quantity of food in the restaurant are very good. Our experience at Hotel Sonar Bangla is great.

Breakfast provided in this reputed resort was not good below average quality

1. Location was good as it has its own private gateway towards sea. 2. ⁠Food quality is good and the complementary breakfast was awesome. 3. ⁠Support staffs were very much friendly and cooperative.

Rooms are not worth the money, better go for other options. They looked more like 2/3 star rather than a 4 star.

The staffs behaviour was just annoying.My guests were very annoyed . I am a regular visitor of all the sonar Bangla hotels and this one was horrible.

I have order starter in 8.40 and they give me at 10 pm very bad service.telling lie and not allow liquor in hotel premises including pool.they only allow in room to consume alcohol .they have to mention that but they did not do this .i will suggest u not to go in sonar bangla Mandarmani

The property is great for family stay. It is convenient to go to beach, has children park and food is good. The housekeeping and service is at par as well.

I had to pay another Rs.1155/- for driver accomodation whereas in basic amenities accomodation of driver was included..
