Victoria Beach Resort

We have booked two lord sea facing rooms property is not properly maintained tv was not working they took 2 hours to resolve but all in vain bed sheets looks untidy paying 5k per room does not worth it. I believe there are far better property available with much lesser price

The hotel is very poorly maintained ! Washroom is dirty ! Very limited food options for lunch,breakfast and dinner ! Absolutely not worth the amount of money they are charging for each room !

Very bad service baat

Stayed in a clean, spacious room with good housekeeping, but faced disappointment with pool access and restaurant service. I found the hotel room to be clean and spacious, and the housekeeping service was consistent and satisfactory throughout our stay. This gave us a comfortable base to relax after long days. However, the amenities did not meet expectations, especially the pool facilities. We chose this hotel primarily for its large pool, but unfortunately, it was under maintenance for over a day, despite the hotel’s promise to clean it in half a day and provide access. This prolonged closure significantly affected our overall experience. The restaurant, though part of a large hotel, left much to be desired. The menu was presented on simple A4 paper, which felt rather cheap for a property of this scale. Many items were unavailable, and even the dishes served took around 45 minutes to arrive. The taste was average, and the service staff seemed to lack professionalism, impacting our dining experience negatively. In summary, while the room and housekeeping were positive highlights, the lack of proper pool access and subpar restaurant service reduced our stay from good to average. I hope the management takes steps to improve these areas for future guests.

I recently stayed at Victoria Beach Resort and overall, the experience was average. The location is definitely a plus—it’s close to the beach and offers a peaceful environment. The staff was polite, but the service could have been more prompt and attentive. The rooms were decently maintained, though a few areas could use better cleaning and upkeep. Food options were okay, but nothing exceptional. It’s a decent place for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of hospitality and facilities.

We had Booked our Room for 2 Days... The First Disappointment was that the swimming pool was in bad state the water was absolutely dirty....when we complained they tried to cover up that because of the rain it got dirty but the other pools in the surrounding resorts were all good , they said the pool could not be used as there is no one to clean..but assured that it will be done by tomorrow....they did try to clean it the next morning.....but still it was not very clean......there was no coordination between the staff.... second issue was when I enquired about the breakfast for next day they said it would be a buffet spread....but they served limited items on the table third issue was the room service and the house keeping on asking for an extra shampoo they were enquiring as if we are wasting the things There was no security on the beach exit of the hotel It was not the same Victoria Beach Resort where we stayed at a couple of years back Very Disappointing Experience overall

The hotel levied an unexpected 1000-rupee charge for early check-in, despite my prior request and lack of notification. Further compounding the issue, this charge was applied without providing a receipt, demonstrating a significant lapse in professional conduct. The room's condition was unremarkable.

they denied to serve any food items from 4 to 6 is this a right way to treat guests please change the policy

Starting from smooth check-in to extremely smooth stay and smoothest checkout. Front desk officers, room-service guys and the food delivery guys are polite, extremely helpful and approachable. Food quality was extremely good. Ambience of the big property is also very admirable. There are scopes for lots of indoor and outdoor activities. Rooms are pretty big and comfortable to stay. Just one issue that we as non-vegetarian bengalies faced is unavailability of mutton-dishes. Mutton was not available at all. Otherwise 10/10.

Rooms are good, food is good. One complaint is that they gave ICE bucket on order but billed it with GST and SST which is not at all acceptable. I went with my pet and we are a pet lover family, we observed that they have a very old pet in their property, who can hardly move. they feed him and take care of him. Really appreciate their gesture.

Had a wonderful stay at Victoria Beach Resort, Mandarmoni. The view of the Bay of Bengal from the resort is absolutely stunning! The food was delicious, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. Highly recommended!

Room is very specious swimming pool is excellent. Play area lack bit maintenance no light working in play area . In front of sea there is no seating arrangement . Food is good .

Location wise excellent property with sea facing rooms, well maintained, well organised, perfect staycation with friends/ family. Management to be blamed for understaff, not adequate staff to serve all the guests at the same time.

my experience was kind of mixed of both good and bad. booked victoria beach resort for one day, on occasion of marriage anniversary. in terms of room- it definitely requires renovation, as sone of the furniture were out of order like almirah door was annoyingly non functional. the presmium room like ours definitely should have a mini fridge as other hotels offer in this price point. in terms of washroom, it also requires renovation as far as sanitary fittings are concerned. lights are quite dull too during night. but rooms are quite spacious, airy and well ventilated during day time. staffs are courteous. restaurant guys are also very good but service is a bit slow. but they were attentive during my anniversary celebrations. F& B manager chiranjit stated as long as 2:00 hrs at night until our dinner was over at beach setup. food tastes are also good

The location is fantastic, with a clear view of the sea from the 'Lords' rooms. However, the rooms are a bit dated. The staff are courteous, and the service level is excellent. The only area for improvement would be the quality of the food.
