Right on the beach it's location is almost the last of the resorts/hotels in that area and the approach road is incomplete and very rough. Inside the premises its a different place. A bright and happening place with excellent facilities and aminities. It's neat and clean. The ambience is great and the vibe is very positive. The staff is helpful and the food is amazing. This was my second visit there and the experience was great as usual.

Really loved the stay in Sher Bengal. The resort is very close to beach and is family friendly. The staffs are really good especially I would mention Mr Swapan Bera. okay place, not worth if you are choosing premium suite.

Okay place to stay, not if you want a peaceful weekend. We stayed in premium suit. Premium suit rooms were spacious with nice view and bathroom had a big bathtub. Although bathroom was not very neat & clean. Food and room service were great. Our concierge assigned was a gentleman “Dibas ” who was always available around us for all our needs. Pool was okay, but almost always crowded, as it was a single same pool for all the guests in hotel. The resort doesn’t have a private beach but yes it was beach facing property with beach accessible to public so it was not very clean.

The experience was quite mixed

The approach road to the resort is in very poor condition—uneven, littered with garbage, and quite off-putting for a property of this category. On arrival, the reception staff seemed average in terms of hospitality and attentiveness, though the room service and catering teams were notably more courteous and efficient. The food quality was good, with a variety of options, On the downside, room cleanliness was not up to the mark. The swimming pool and surrounding area looked unmaintained, and shockingly, the bathroom curtain had visible algae, suggesting poor upkeep. The biggest positive of this resort is definitely its location — the beach is absolutely stunning, peaceful, and easily accessible, offering a perfect spot to unwind despite the resort’s shortcomings. Overall, SHER BENGAL has tremendous potential because of its prime beachfront location, but serious attention is needed in maintenance, cleanliness, and value for money to match expectations.

You MakeMyTrip should be mapped room layout of each hotel , so that no hotel able to distribute room as per their choice. The sher bengal don't provide GST invoice for food bill, food charges is to high, one chapati priced at Rs. 30 and one litre water charged at Rs.40, where MRP is Rs 20. For complement they give one 500 ml bottled water for a day. MakeMyTrip should verify every aspect of a property for their (MakeMyTrip) loyal customer

A basic overhyped hotel claiming to be a resort.

This is an overhyped property with basic quality of rooms, you’ll have to climb 2floor of stairs for premium sea view rooms with unsafe tiny balcony for kids or even for adults. The swiming pool is tiny. Worst morning breakfast options and pathetic taste. Many of the Live menu dishes were chargeable, which are infarct free in other properties. The only two things good about the property was their paid, very expensive, food which we ordered for dinner and behaviour of staffs and service. The property has direct access to the beach. You’ll have to walk at least 300mts for it.

The location is excellent, well maintained property. Best aspect of this resort is their service, all the stuffs are very helpful. Specially would like to mention Bapi, he was always very attentive to the details, extremely helpful and very polite and professional. Food is also good, portion quantity is huge. We ordered one dal and one posto, that was sufficient for 4 people. Would 100% recommend.

Good Stay

Location is great. We had a peaceful stay. But little improvement need for clinliness. Bedsheet provided was not up to mark. Food was average.
