Avoid if possible!

This hotel is highly disappointing on several levels: it's not clean, the rooms and furniture are worn, the shower head in my room leaked. The breakfast was dreadful, and was consistently out of food. The front desk was a bit short, in helping. Additionally the location is far from decent dining options and metro stop is about a kilometer away.

Needs Renovation, Poor Locatio....

Location This hotel is 1.2 kilometers away from the metro. It's a long walk. We chose to take the taxi; but were taken for long rides, indirect routes almost every time. I hate to say, all Shanghai taxi drivers have ill intentions. It is very frustrating for foreigners. If the hotel could provide a free shuttle to the metro, maybe that would be a solution. There's a very large school next door. At 8am, without fail, there is very loud music; perhaps it's the school or national anthem. A man makes a super loud annoucement on the speaker phone. The first time, not knowing Mandarin, I thought it was an emergency announcement! It's very startling. So don't count on sleeping in. We stayed five days. Can you imagine? Needs renovation We had a very large suite with living room and separate bedroom. It's about 650 sqft. Very spacious, but very old too. Our room on the 20th floor was non-smoking, but a few rooms had guests smoking. The smoke can be evident in our room and hallways. Good bedding, good towels The bedding was new and very comfortable. Towels were clean and new. Slippers, toothbrushes, bottled water were provided daily. The shampoo and soaps were below average. The room has a fridge and small safe. Breakfast The breakfast was terrible. No other words. Staff Every morning The concierge helped me hail a cab and explained my destination to the cab driver. The concierge also advised how long the journey would be and what the expected cab fare was. They spoke English appropriately and I found them helpful. It was very quick service and the wait was less than five minutes.

Decent for resting and start f....

Book hotel room for attending an exhibition, we start early in the morning and finish at noon. For a week stay I can say that I have a decent rest in the hotel, and early refreshment to start in the morning, the cleanliness is not the best, but I can live with it. Breakfast offers variety of options which is Nice

Worst customer service and bad....

Stayed here 3 days - will never recommend this hotel to no one unless they someday have a hotel makeover and magical staff training. 1. The twins room is the worst deal ever. Same price if you choose a double bed room, you get a living room and a full bathroom instead of feeling embarrassed over the big clear window with the thinnest shade of the shower room that your roommate can see the silhouette of you.Also, the air conditioner doesn't work, only heat comes out. 2. Buffet breakfast - very limited selection. Not worth it if you have to more than US$5.00 per person. 3. VERY DISRESPECTFUL STAFF - Chris Zhang, Mary Peng...and almost all staff at this hotel was very indifferent about their work, treating customers with the least patience and never a smile or any sort of courtesy. Well there is only one thing standing for this hotel's advantage: the location is good cuz it's only 30 mins drive to the SNIEC for trade shows but make sure you are requesting a taxi 10-15 mins earlier and you download the Chinese version of UBER (DIDI) yourself bcuz the concierge gave up on the task v ur easily.

Poor Hotel Needs Renovation

Hotel needs renovation urgently. Wifi doesn't work, GSM signals in rooms are poor. I felt disconnected while my stay. Taxi is hard to find, breakfast is just so so. Doesn't feel like a Ramada. Feels more like a Chinese hotel. No food options nearby apart fork a McDonald's opposite. Poor Hotel.
