I would recommend this place for it's excellent location and value for money. Moreover the rooms are very spacious. For the people from Indian sub-continent this location is even better place as a very nice Indian restaurant "Indian Tikka" is barely 50 Meters away from this hotel.

The property is very near to centre of the city and all the attractions are near by. Charles bridge is at walking distance, enjoyed the morning walk at Charles bridge. About property, rooms are clean and spacious. Stayed there for a night and find it very conveniently placed to cover all the attractions and take breaks in between.

Servicing of room not 100% but otherwise comfortable stay and outstanding value for money. Ambience, light and open feeling of reception area would be much improved if the totally inappropriate massive brown sculpture in the middle by the stairs were to be removed.

Everything was good, a room, service, staff. A bit disturbed by noise at night, lots of bars and clubs. The location is very good, the astronomical clock 5 minutes walk. Near the center, the palladium, the Albert store.

This is an excellent boutique hotel, with good service and reappointed rooms. Comfortable and refurnished to a very high standard. Easy walk to old town and to main train station. Recommended highly. Can be considered as alternative to a 5-star hotel.

All the tourist attractions are at walkable distances and usually you don't find a need to use public transportation. The breakfast was very good. Clean and comfortable rooms, Economic 3 star hotel. Surrounding is very happening! Mr. Din at the reception was very friendly and helpful. They also have luggage room which can be used free of cost. The only minus is there is no mini bar (refrigerator) in hotel room but can be neglected. I would definitely suggest this hotel to everyone.

Staff in the restaurant was not very nice, rude is what I can say. Location was average and so was food. At the cost, one can get better value for money in a more centralised location with better services. AC was not working so we had to open windows.

The best thing about the hotel is their location. Getting to other parts of this beautiful city is easy as plenty of options are available. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is standard and the room has clean linens. An extremely good option for budget stay in Prague.

Very clean hotel in good localization (10 minutes from the city center and 5 minutes from Florenc bus station). Breakfast is tasty and everyone will find something for themselves. For a little fee you can use a sauna and jacuzzi. Only negative is quality of Wi-Fi (is very, very slow)

The hotel was overall good. It’s located in a great location right next to the main bus station and about 10-15 mins walking distance from Prague’s Old Town. The staff were friendly and helpful even though they forgot to put soap and towels in our room, but that was rectified immediately. The rooms are a bit dated, however. There’s no AC, which, in the summer, may be a problem. There was a fan. The central heating system was a bit insufficient and it took time before the room temperature got to the desired level. We had Bath tube in the bathroom, but there was no Bath curtain, so the whole floor was wet after a shower and that was inconvenient. The breakfast was superb. It had everything for any taste and the staff made sure no plates are empty. Overall, I’d highly recommend Merkur and would come back again.

It was a very pleasant stay. Room was big and clean. Location is a little far from center but is very will connected from trams. Breakfast was also very good. Had good Veg options. Hotel also sell day tram pass, which was a big help. Also arranged for taxi to airport on request.
