We raised the issue again with the hotel staff, who then brought a table fan, opened all windows and doors, and ran the fan for two hours. Despite this, the chemical odor did not subside. Later, the explanation changed — the staff claimed that an excessive amount of room freshener had been used by mistake. We requested a change of room, but the hotel refused and instead asked us to accommodate all guests in the remaining 3 rooms. I informed them that this was unacceptable as we had paid for 4 separate rooms, and the solution offered was not satisfactory. I requested a refund for the unusable room via our booking agent (MakeMyTrip), but no action was taken at that time. Only on the following day did the hotel finally change the problematic room, after our repeated complaints. However, the inconvenience caused on the first day significantly impacted our stay and comfort. We expect: A good compensation to us .
