overall stay was average.. Lift stopped at the same time we entered at 1:pm in the night ..soemhow we came out and had to climb stairs to move into room and had to carry our luggage by ourself.electronic safe was also not working. breakfast buffet was ok and food was tasty.Rooms are small with no view but clean..room service was prompt and they give complimentary pick up drop to banganga

We recently stayed at Vaishnodevi Sarovar Portico, Katra with our family during our visit to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel truly lives up to its reputation for comfort, cleanliness, and warm hospitality. The rooms were spacious, neat, and very comfortable, perfect for families. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, ensuring we had a smooth and pleasant stay throughout. The food was delicious, especially the buffet breakfast and dinner with plenty of options for everyone. The location is ideal, close to the Helipad and Banganga, yet peaceful and serene — a perfect place to relax after the divine darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi. A big thank you to the entire team for their excellent service and care. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Katra — a perfect stay for devotees and families alike.

poor experience. The rooms was very small ,tap was not working properly, and basic facilities didn’t work, very less food options with high prices. It was definitely not worth the price. I’d advise others to look for better options nearby.

Cons: To start with there was no security guard/valet service at the entrance. We parked our car and carried our luggage to the reception. Again no one at the reception. After sometime, a gentleman came to assist us with no smile, no greetings. For a small thing like TV connection, had to call the reception and then visit in person twice to get it fixed the next day. Food is below average but on the expensive side (breakfast buffet options are also limited and takes years to get an order). Pros: Location away from hustle bustle yet walking distance from the action. Complementary pickup/drop service. Overall a below average stay compared to other Sarovar properties (stayed in Agra, Amritsar and Mashobra before which were quite good).
