You had already arrived and checked in at the hotel before making an online booking on MMT several hours later . As per standard booking policies, the charges were applied according to th eactual booking process and the reservation source. As per the hotel policy , we do not entertain such overlapping online bookings once the guest has already checked in , as the charges for your stay had already been confirmed under the self booking. The amount paid online war therefore in addition to the initial booking charges, not an overcharge without reason. In fact, as a gesture of goodwill , we had also upgraded you to a Premium Room at no extra cost. We regret if there was any misunderstanding regarding the charges, but our team had explained the same at the time . We assure you that no extra charges were levied beyond the applicable booking policy. We value your feedback and will contonue to work on ensuring clear coommunication for all our guests. Good Stay
A beautiful and peaceful property with mountain surrounding view. Rooms were spaces and comfortable. Breakfast menu required a update.

Excellent Stay
Overall experience was just Amazing.. I wana give 5/5 ranks in almost everything. clean rooms, peaceful environment, helpful & polite staff, Excellent Room service, Last but not least.... Delicious food.

Average Stay
Although the view and staff were good the hotel doesn't come under value for money and I had faced internet issues for 2 days when there wifi broke down

I don't know what's wrong with the Hotel Properties located at such devotional places. we checked in on 18th April, 2025 at 3 pm and our check out was on 20th April, 2025 at 5 am. I told hotel KC Residency in advance at I have early check out at 5 am as my train departure is at 5.45 am - Vande Bharat for New Delhi. At first, I requested them to swap my included breakfast for 20/04 and give me dinner for 18/04, which they denied and told me I can order breakfast at 4 am also and there is no problem in that. I ordered my breakfast (just normal tea and toast) at 4 am on 20/04, which was not provided to me even when I had left at 5.15 am. terrible treatment for guests. Their luxury room is also in poor condition and curtains, washroom was stinking. I will not advise anyone to stay here. I had worse experience in my yearly darshan to Vaishno Devi for last 20 yrs now.

Excellent Stay
The rooms were exceptionally clean and aesthetically appealing, warm and welcoming staff and prompt room service. The only drawback was that they don't offer slippers which was not expected of them.

Poor Stay
There was a wedding and the music was playing till 11. 30 pm also at 2. 00 am dhol started playing till 3. 30. We did not get any sleep due to such noise pollution and the hotel staff were helpless for that

New transport policy
coupleFood and stay was nice but i thing really disappointed that they have stopped free transfers to market and railway station which earlier they used to provide now they are asking money to every transfer where as all other hotels are providing free of cost. Actually kc is far from market and if they will not provide transfers they will loss clients & bussiness. Like i am raising this i was seeing many guests in the hotel were not happy by there new transport policy and were arguing for the same concern. I don’t know who suggested them to do this i think they will loss more and earn less by these non friendly attitude towards guests.

I recently stayed at kc residence in katra, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the main market and transportation to the vaishno devi base. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, ensuring every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and i was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms. The interiors were well-maintained, with modern amenities that added to the comfort of my stay. The highlight was the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options to cater to all tastes. The service was prompt, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. What truly stood out was the serene ambiance and the breathtaking views from the property. It was the perfect place to unwind after the spiritual journey to vaishno devi. I would highly recommend kc residence to anyone visiting katra. It offers excellent value for money, unmatched hospitality, and an overall memorable!

coupleEvery thing is ok in said property every staff is friendly but one thing that i don't like they don't give pickup and drop facility at railway station they changed rs400 for dropping at station and distance between hotel to station is hardly 1km

Poor Stay
Hotel policies were very bad for example pick and drop. Cheaper hotels were giving the free pick and drop but this hotel were charging for every small thing. Never saw such worse ever policies

familyThe stay was good, nice & clean, supportive staff, food was awesome specially thali & snacks the only issue i faced as this is 3-4 star property at least they should provide basic things bathroom slippers were not present in the room, internet was not working for my room area even though they provided some alternative solutions. Excellent Stay
The hotel is clean, has spacious rooms, food was good. Breakfast options can be more. But overall the stay was worth each penny. I will recommend this property for sure.
