The entrance to this hotel was too bad. Their entrance does not have a fan, life was small, smelly unbearable. The hotel is on 5th floor. It was huge turn down and irritating as we were travelling 12 odd hours.
We got a room on arrival (11:30 or so) had to wait in lobby for another 30 some minutes with 2 other families means they had no vacant rooms. We had reservation.
The hotel was under renovation. We were allotted delux double room. They have good branding but the room was small to be honest even cramped.
They provided 2 small bisleri bottles as complimentary. Any water requested over it were charged ₹30/- per bottle (₹10 extra on MRP) , we had to buy our own water.
They were doing some renovation work or something, the room had smell of gasoline or petrol. It was overwhelming to the point that we left within hour of checking in. We did not tell the same at reception, I don't think they could do anything at all about it since we knew they do not have rooms.
We had a meal upgrade, they already had complimentary breakfast (not sure what MMT meal upgrade meant then?)
The breakfast was buffet. We asked if they can pack us some and deliver to the room, they said we had to go to another floor for breakfast.
It was below average experience, bad, very cramped sitting arrangement. Mostly just big chair pair with no table between them. Couple Sofa with a low coffee table, uncomfortable to eat.
They had 3 options 1 sweet and 2 south Indian options. They also had bread-butter-jam option.
Tea was being served in paper cup. It was weird. We saw them carrying tea for room service in proper cup and saucer. So I guess not all guests are equal 😋 We had some other families as well not just us there.
Regardless,
But hotel is at a very good location; reception was friendly enough. That was the only redeeming quality it had.
Probably next time it will be better? I don't know.
