Excellent Stay
I am so glad to have known this beautiful hotel. I am grateful to morning shift person who gave us room to rest till we got our allotted room. The cafeteria staff was helpful and hospitable, rooms were clean and spacious. The location is convenient and centralized. The food was delicious. Thank you for the best hospitality I have enjoyed though I had the privilege to be in bigger and star hotels. Looking forward being there again.

Great Experience
The experience has been really comfortable, the property is too good as per the price and very to mall road. If you go by car then it will hard take 5 to 6 mins to reach mall road, I will prefer to avoid going via car instead you can take taxi and they will drop you. Property location is very good and the views are amazing.

Central location, well maintaine
Decent, modern, clean 4 star hotel in the center of the city. 5-10 min walk from mall road restaurants and shopping. Good breakfast spread, especially for vegetarian Indian cuisine. Chef took extra effort in making the masala dosa special. Potential downside - it is too close to Cart Rd, a major artery for Shimla. So expect traffic jams in the peak season. We walked from the railway station - 800 metres. Took us about 15 min as we had luggage

Excellent Stay
One of the best Hotels in Shimla with an amazing Location. The Hotel staff is super courteous, helpful and delivers the exceptionally outstanding services. The rooms are with European standards amenities, linen and bathroom cleanliness is outstanding. Room services are prompt and 24 hours available just a call away. Hill view rooms which takes us closer to nature.

Good Stay
The rooms were good. Service was good too. They were courteous and helpful. The hotel however though only 800 metres from the mall , has a steep road. It’s tough going walking.

beautiful view of the valley
The room we stayed in had a beautiful valley view ...infact the room size was big .... everything that we wanted or any help was provided within minutes... breakfast was amazing with good options ...for us it was a wonderful experience and next time whenever we will be coming to shimla we will be staying in this property.....car parking is available and within 5-8 mins walking distance to the mall road....

Good Choice in Shimla
The hotel is close to the mall road. polite staff and clean property. Fresh food, everything was well prepapred. Woukd recommend this hotel.

Prperty location was good ...rooms were also good but breakfast buffet was having less variety and one more thing we have to take a cab while going mall road its not so near..!!!

Beat two days in Shimla with Cedar Grand.....
Excellent property in very good location. Suitable for family, specially for kids. Prices are also reasonable. Food quality and service was excellent. Staff behaviour was fabulous.

Spacious and Beautiful rooms, asty food.
One of the best hotels to stay in Shimla. Very near to mall road. parking facility is available. The have recently renovated the hotel in Feb 2025. Hence the rooms are very beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast had a lot of options. Staff is friendly and professional. NOTE- It's better than combermare, and other hotels nearby.

3 star hotel as best
We stayed here for 5 nights already and had 1 more night pending but we left 1 day early due to the war situation. They did not offer or issue refund for this 1 night in this situation. Very inconsiderate of this hotel. We booked Junior Suite. Room is in the corner and it is a good size. Window is small. Looking out the window is a decent view but you also see just outside is a dirty trash dump. We asked to be changed to another room. They gave us Premium Club Room. This room is smaller and it had a bad foul odor in the bathroom. Breakfast starts late at 8am but half the food is missing and is available after 30 minutes. We had to tell them several times. If you drink coffee, you will get dont know what they serve as coffee. They do have a coffee machine downstairs but they charged us Rs200 every time for a cup. Hotel staff is good and friendly. Hotel otherwise was clean. Location to mall road is near but have to climb up to get to it.
