great stay with welcoming staf

the Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Shimla is bit away from Shimla town, amidst the valley area of Mashobra village. The location is worth the view. property is very beautifully maintained, welcoming with humble staff. we were treated with Himachali caps for each one of us, refreshing welcoming drink with juice of a flower called brans or similar, and house made saunf cookies and savoury matri. Club room was on top floor and had a spectacular view of the deodar and pine forest. Room was great, with quality products ITC stands for. staff was very humble, courteous and good to converse with. overall food was delicious, just expect some time for in room service considering it make take sometime as Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Shimla seems completely occupied. we were thinking to extend but there was no room in any category. Hotel was quick to address any concern or ask . certainly a place worth the stay.

I have a mixed experience with this property. To elaborate.. its ITC so has to be good and this a mixed experience. Because the expectations were high and to add i have stayed in a better properties before. Not much of negative i wish to highlight, the only and only super good this was the staff. Ms Kaur was helpful, courteous and obliged us to the best of her capacity & capabilities. Thanks for that. Travellers to note- the property is far from the Jakhu temple and the mall road (1 hour drive approx). Its more to enjoy the serene beauty natural flora & fauna and it could be peaceful if they do not have any event like weddings planned on the property.

Stay was excellent. Service,location everything is superb. Buffet is just wow. Everyone in the Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Shimla is so welcoming and ready to help. I would have given 11 star out of 10 if possible. The only drawback is the way to Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Shimla its very steep. One needs to be experienced driver. But overall its worth it. Loved every single moment in it
