The property needs major improvement and maintenance. They have 4 blocks 2 of which are entirely not maintained and unfortunately this time they made us stay there. The staff did there best to make us feel confortable in every way but the place in itself was so uncomfortable. Stinky sheets, corridor was so stinky we had to run and cross to reach the room. Cleanliness of the outside area was a big problem. Parking is a hassle in this hotel. There is hardly any open space to relax and you keep either climbing stairs up or down.

overall good experience

reached the hotel with family on a personal vehicle. at first were surprised to see the incline which was very steep that we had our doubts if we will reach the top but we did. on arrival were given a welcome drink strawberry juice. The room was in a separate block top floor. on opening the room were surprised with the filth on the floor and balcony which the hotel promptly cleaned. The view from the room was very good but the balcony was very small but adequate to adjust 2 adults. The dinner was at the rooftop restaurant which was ok for the seating but food was so so. not too good for the exorbitant prices so don't keep your hopes high. The kids wanted to visit the pool for some fun which appeared clean from afar but really filthy like the filters were not working. lots of floaters including feathers. no attendant or lifeguard was available. requested the waiters nearby to send someone but no one came. The breakfast buffet was well laid out but taste lacked in almost everything. lunch we had outside. The dinner we tried at the first floor valley view restaurant which now had a good taste with an excellent hostess assigned to us. overall the stay was good with some quirks like monkeys banging on the roof early in the morning which I suppose is a common menace in kasauli.

The Hotel with the great loca

The Checkin process is not up to the mark and nowhere stands which relates to 4/5 star standards. Keeping in mind the check-in time, we reached the hotel at 2.30 p.m. but we were told the rooms are yet to be done up. The rooms were also not very clean. There were no towels in the rooms when we occupied the rooms. However, I will give full marks to the Breakfast spread and also the overall restaurant service. The food is on the higher side cost wise but the food is good. The location of the Hotel is fantastic.
