Review Of The Bay Suites Sea Facing Hotel-Right On The Golden Beach

This was one of the most memorable hotel experiences in our family trips. Rooms (super delux) are spacious, having excellent sea view. All the staffs (Reception, room service, restaurant) are exceptionally well behaved and cooperative. Next time in Puri, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again. Only negative thing is the price of the foods which are much higher than usual.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your hotel, where I stayed in a super deluxe room on August 13, 2025. While I had prior knowledge of your hotel's reputation through a friend, I was disappointed to find that certain issues persisted. Specifically, the bathroom's drainage system was problematic, leading to stagnant dirty water. Additionally, the sea-facing balcony was filled with bird droppings, which detracted from the overall experience. I hope you will take my feedback seriously and consider addressing these concerns to enhance the quality of stay for future guest.

The maintenance of the property is very poor. Food quality also needs to be improved .

What a great experience with hotel bay suites each and everything was one of the best in this hotel and i suggest when ever you come with puri please stat in this hotel

Female staff is courteous - room cleanliness is terrible -- we were sharing the room with a cockroach family -- room condition is shabby -- it is just an average place

Location of the property is very good, it's on the Golden Beach, Puri. Service here is very much customer friendly and available on call basis. Food taste is excellent but pricing is definitely on higher side.

First of all we didn't checked-in in this hotel because of multiple issues. We booked for 2 days 2 rooms and all the booking amount was not refunded. Think twice before book this hotel from MMT. There were hygiene issue, fungus in the wall and bathroom. bed head rest was like bandage. We were booked sea facing but in reality it was like detritus. I complaint to MMT but MMT is also not helped and finally we changed the hotel.

the property location is very good. rooms are also good but drainage system of bathroom is not up to the mark. the water in the bathroom not draining it stay on the floor. as per the tariff the hotel's maintenance is not so good. and foods are also very expensive.

Stay was ok not worth the money equipment non functional equipment. Staff unresponsive to queries or request

The living experience was excellent at the hotel food, housekeeping,room service all were good enough for a family person The swimming pool was too clean to use

Housekeeping- very poor, slow response and not maintained hygiene, they are very reluctant to clean room, washroom and changing the bed cover etc. Room Service: Good. Hospitality: awesome, I am really impressed on the way they have treated my mom who needs wheelchair assistance.

If possible, its best to keep clear of this hotel. PRO : 1. Swimming pool at rooftop, fairly well maintained. 2. Less cosltly, compared to other hotels with swimming pool. 3. Food quality. CONS : 1. Horrible front desk and reception. They will NOT cooperate with you at any cost. Eg. I booked 2 rooms and told the front desk person, Biswajit, to give me rooms on the same floor as I had my elderly parents in the other room. Unbelievable but true : Inspite of rooms being available, they gave different floors and totally refused to comply by telling blatant lies (room already occupied, ac not working, will take time to prepare etc etc) and in front of our eyes gave the room to another guest. 2. Do not speak with Biswajit of reception. Remember this name. He is a pathological lier. 3. Food is double costly. Eg. Masala dosa is Rs. 150. Go to sea hawk at swargadwar and its 75. 4. Disastrous room service. They use your soiled Room towels to clean the bathroom (see attached photo). Did it in front of our eyes and the logic was "they will anyways be sent to the laundry!!" 5. Room service is not done if not asked for. Even if you ask for it, they might forget. Came to our room at 2pm to see that its yet to be serviced. (see photo) 5. There is no hotel manager. Hypothetically someone is there but he could never be contacted. 6. The hotel entrance is through the back road. So, be careful with your transport. Don't disembark on new marine drive with luggage.
