Very good stay. Spacious room. We enjoyed our stay. Restaurant services were a bit slow but yummy food.

I had an excellent experience at Hotel BnR, Chanakyapuri. Though the location is a little away from the sea, everything else about the stay more than makes up for it. The rooms are huge, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff deserves special appreciation — they are warm, courteous, and always ready to help, making you feel truly cared for. The food is outstanding, offering both quality and variety that impresses every time. Loved my stay in this antique hotel - well centrally located & within few km from Jagannath Mandir & from Swargodar . A must stay for families as kids will be experiencing the heritage stations/junctions/royal salon of trains . After staying here, my understanding of BNR Chanakya got changed & now will be eager to explore in other cities too. Lastly, staff were extremely courteous & rooms much bigger than other peers in the same category or more.

The Air conditioning provided was inadequate in comparison to the size of the room. Rest all was satisfactory.

hotel staff persons & specially manager was very rude person. Manager doesn't know how to talk & behave with customers. very disappointed with overall experience. never ever recommend to anyone to stay at this hotel.

Hotel ambience was very good and all hotel staff including reception people was very curtious and customers friendly. In dining dept. quality of food was also good. Flute recital made the whole atmosphere devine.

Just the rooms are good rest the maintanence part of house keep is extremly poor.. The pool side is very very poor with dirty & poluted water and the changing room seems as if of a servent washroom. Maintanence part in the whole property is dam poor and disgusting and the room tarrif are also dam high. Only worth it if other hotels are not available.

It's a heritage property in Puri. And the overall look justify the same. The buffet option for breakfast is also very good. One thing that can be implemented is a lift for senior citizens for the 1st floor as the floor to floor height is substantial the staircase is also has many steps.

Chankya BNR is centrally located in Puri. It is about 2 kms from the Puri beach and nearly the same distance from Jaganath temple. The rooms in the hotel is spacious. The property is well maintained and the staff is polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant is tasty as well. All in all, Chankya BNR is a really good place to enjoy your trip to Puri, Odisha

We had booked 4 rooms for 3 nights. The property is pretty well maintained. I guess it’s a heritage building definitely built during pre-independence era. Currently it’s run by IRCTC. There is a sprawling lawn in front of the property. Some portions of the hotel was under renovation at the time of our visit. Beach is a 10-minute walk. Sea is not visible from any part of the hotel. If that’s your priority, choose something else. The rooms are quite spacious with pretty large beds to accommodate 2 adults & 2 kids comfortably. Complementary b/fast did let me down a bit. Although the spread was lavish, it lacked variety in terms of what was served for 3 consecutive days. However, food was good and tasted nice. Ample parking. Swargodwar would be 10 minutes auto ride, so will Jagannath Temple. Lastly, it is fantastic property. 6k would be ideal (incl b/fast) anything below that would be a deal. But during long weekends and bookings at short notices, price would touch 7k. Hotel staff are also very courteous. No complaints. Another drawback- they should arrange for driver rooms/ dormitories for night stays.
