Staffs are least bothered regarding service. Found a very negative approach regarding hospitality. Checked in 5 hrs late from expected time, asked for one hour late check-out but to our utter surprise we were rejected on face saying that only half n hr extension can be provided. We were also said we would be charged extra if we don’t check out by the said time. I would never ever visit this hotel

Property is really good, location is also very good as it is in front of beach, you can go early morning and late evening stroll on the beach, go to terrace late in the evening for great view. I stayed with my parents we have enjoyed overall. Pool was under maintenance whole time during our stay and little bit they need to improve on services.

Good resort. Well maintained. Very good sea view rooms. No wall mosture or any bad smell.

Checked -IN - 6th Sept 2025 Checked -OUt 7th Sept 2025 We were a group of 11 guests who stayed at NRS Royal Palace for one night, and unfortunately, the experience was far from pleasant. • Room Allotment Delays: Despite prior bookings, we faced significant delays during check-in. The staff seemed disorganized and indifferent, which set a frustrating tone for our stay. • Poor Staff Behavior: Throughout our visit, the staff’s attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. Basic courtesy and hospitality were sorely lacking. Rooms had wall seepage and you will find putty flakes arround.(Specifically room 115,110,111) • Non-functional AC: The air conditioning in our room wasn’t working, and even after calling in an electrician, the issue remained unresolved. This made the stay extremely uncomfortable, especially in the heat. • Unsafe Pool Conditions: One of the main reasons we chose this property was the swimming pool. Sadly, it was in poor condition—many mosaic tiles were coming off, and one of our group members even got hurt. It was not only disappointing but also unsafe. Instead of closing the pool then had put a permanent banner stating pool under maintenance but still they allow people to use it. They don't provide plates for food(in case you choose to taste something authentic at Puri)and in-return they will respond you stating outside food is not allowed. Overall, the property did not live up to expectations in terms of service, amenities, or maintenance. We hope the management takes these issues seriously and works on improving the guest experience. Until then, we wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

Location is primium in view of sea beach accessibility. Service is excellent. Breakfast is very good. Room cleanliness is excellent

The hotel architecture is amazing from a distance it looks like something everybody would want to stay in and it definitely looks like a hotel which is worth more than 9000 rupees a night. But when you step inside the first problem that we had was we had to wait for around 25 minutes for check in even though the reception was not occupied or there was no queue The view from the room was amazing the balcony is big in size but I think the cleanliness of the room is something which can be done way better and I would rate the cleanliness 2 out of 5 And for the price range you will expect more amenities in the bathroom like possibly a bathtub and better quality and quantity of the bath fluids like the shampoo and shower gel and a hand wash at the basin should also be provided And apart from that the other things like the swimming pool and the restaurant was alright the food was amazing So I will say that the hotel is good but it is not excellent and I don't also feel that it deserves to be a four star hotel it is at max a 3 star hotel.

Overall It's good but the behavior of their security staff is not good, NRS should arrange soft skill training for them.

The room looks good but after choosing to turn off the air conditioner.. the room became moist. The walls were coated with water. And the floors became sticky. It was terrible for us to sleep there. And the food was okay. Not tasteful at all. Just managed to eat because we were hungry.

Property location was the reason we selected the hotel for the stay. Beach is just across the road . Ambience of the room was regal with a sense of luxury. I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at NRS ROYAL PALACE PURI hotel from 23-08-2025  to 25-08-2025. Upon checking into my initial room, 311, my family and I were dismayed to find the floor was completely damp, with water visibly seeping up from the tiles. This was not only an unpleasant condition but also a safety hazard. I immediately contacted housekeeping, and while the staff member was helpful, the solution provided—to keep the AC at 18 degrees Celsius—did not resolve the issue. The dampness persisted, forcing me to complain again. As a result, we were moved to room 316 twin bed. To our shock and disappointment, we encountered the same exact problem in the new room. This was incredibly frustrating and disruptive to our stay. My mother was particularly affected and had to sleep on a sofa for the entire first night due to the terrible conditions. It wasn't until a third room change that we were finally provided a suitable room for the remainder of our stay. While I appreciate the final resolution, the fact that we had to go through three different rooms to find a dry, safe place to stay is unacceptable. This series of events caused immense stress and significantly detracted from what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday for my family. I trust you will take this complaint seriously. I believe it is a fundamental expectation for a hotel to provide a safe, dry, and clean environment for its guests from the start.

Excellent location near light house. Quite peaceful place. Just opposite of beach. Nice food quality but little pricy. Rooms are quite good clean.

The hotel is not hygienic, staff is not friendly at all. Don’t go by the photos on make my trip, the hotel is in very bad shape. Basic hygiene and maintenance issues. Not close to temple. Not recommended at all. Not a place to stay with family

The location of this property is excellent, and I have stayed here before with my family. Unfortunately, the overall condition has deteriorated significantly since my last visit. Cleanliness has gone down there were old stains, unclean bedsheets, pillow covers, and the washroom looked poorly maintained. The property feels much less tidy compared to two years ago. The food quality has also declined. Earlier, the restaurant served generous portions, but now the quantity has reduced noticeably. I was quite disappointed with the experience. We eventually checked out early and moved to another hotel. While the location across the beach is fantastic, the property itself feels unkept, with stained towels and bedding, giving it a very shabby impression.

The stay was peaceful and good... But the rooms were old... Needs overhauling... The pool also needs to be maintained properly
